As his advocate happy to see Robbie get his debut.
Has got a goal in every VFL match except one including practise matches.

Also sounds like he laid some crunching tackles on the weekend as well.
Hasn't had huge numbers but neither did Ben Long.

Aside from Lonie our other small forwards haven't done a whole lot so hopefully he can make an impact and hold the spot.

Remember not to blink or you may not see him.

Good Luck Robbie!

So he gets replaced with someone who's form in the VFL is under par.
Why would you bother trying then ?

Who said he was sub par? He's the obvious replacement for long and he had a goal, tackles and decent possession count last weekend. A few don't like him but he kicked a bag in the VFL practice matches and seems to be more like for like than Rice.

I like Young coming in...Just to cause some genuine excitement and madness for the filth to deal with this week
Together with Gresh and Predator!
Whilst it's true the backs are the one's standing out in the two's.....At senior level our backline has been a standout success
This season. So why tinker! It's up fwd where we have underperformed...We just need a little more point of difference up there
And combined with his pressure and the Xfactor adds to our unpredictability!

Not to mention just to see Plugger's reaction when he gets wind of it! :p

Shame that Jimmy didn't pull up from his hand injury. Valiant effort to play through it last weekend. Probably a good idea to give him a week off.

Happy to see Young get a go - has been doing quite a bit at VFL level so I hope it translates into the senior side on Saturday.

And congrats to Juice and Sav - 100 & 150 games respectively.

Juice with 14 games for the Giants and 86 for the Saints.
Sav with 56 games for the Hawks, 94 for the Saints.

Near on TWO father-son selections there!

Weather for Saturday sunny with a high of 21 - perfect day for a few beers and hopefully a win. Looking forward to it :thumbsu:
