Melbourne have played five away games so far this season.

R2 v Geelong Cats @ Kardinia Red / White
R4 v Sydney Swans @ the SCG Home / Navy
R6 v Richmond @ MCG Home (ANZAC) / White
R8 v Gold Coast Suns @ Carrara Home / Navy
R9 v West Coast Eagles @ Perth Red / White

They’d played Gold Coast and Sydney, so they’d have to wear the full home kit there as not to clash.
I’m thinking Melbourne May also be wearing their Red jumper in all away outside of the MCG, similar to the Hawks.

So far the only away game they've played at the MCG had a special guernsey however - just to throw that spanner in!

Given it's still front and centre when you visit the Demon Shop website (it sold extremely well last season), and there has yet to have been a single game where the royal blue was required, this is highly unlikely.

It happened ridiculously often when the 2013-15 style collar was used. Most weeks Tom Hawkins ended up having a jumper looking like this:

In fact, the collars ripped so easily back in that era that Tom Hawkins ended up wearing Josh Walkers jumper (in name-on-jumper round just for good measure) after he went through two of his own:

Only just noticed that Geelong's new template has smaller numbers. That, or Western Bulldogs are bigger.

In the surprise of the round Carlton are wearing their "All Whites" strip, I was expecting them to wear the home guernsey with white shorts combo but Carlton have only done that just once in their history when visiting the Giants at the Showground and that was in 2014
