Side unfortunately panicked badly late. That game was still very winnable 7 mins out. Just invited too much pressure.
Should not detract however from an amazing performance given a dramatically sub strength team. Hopper/Taylor/Buckley all exceptional in the second half.
I see Nick Poulos' strength and CONDITIONING programme has claimed another soft tissue victim with Perryman. Jase McCartney will do well to hold onto Nick this off season. Sure to be in high demand!!

So how did Dusty beat Idun to the goal line in a 10m sprint coming from 2 metres behind?
Because Dusty dragged Idun back with both hands around his waist when the ball was bobbling in the goal square.
Note the umpire 5m away with full visibility of the obvious defensive freekick.

There are dozens of pro-sporting teams in Sydney with smaller budgets and lower professional profiles than the AFL.
I simply cannot understand why we havenāt:
1. Poached the best conditioning talent in NSW/ACT years ago.
2. Done a reciprocal deal with one or more other non-AFL clubs and NSW/ACT universities to share medical and conditioning expertise.
3. Re our conditioning team, it often feels like weāre running Bondi Surf Club and weāre inexplicably unable to attract any lifesavers with strong lifesaving expertise.

"Although the two incidents from the Richmond v West Coast Eagles match were adjudicated according to the current interpretation, the AFL acknowledges there is a need to adjust the interpretation of rough conduct free kicks relating to the use of studs in marking contests and will make this change effective immediately."

In every game on every teams board you find that the supporters believe the umpires are looking after the other team
The umpire that was the officiating umpire tonight is the umpire thats awarded the most free's against Richmond this year
Time for a new coach as this guy is wasting the talented players at your club

You cannot honestly say that the Tiges werenāt given free reign to belt Greene and get no frees from it.
Yeah we got the frees they were there. We should of got more as they were there.
Dustys last goal didnāt cross the line, a blind man could see it, but before that in the run up he held Idun back.
Thatās before we get to Riewoldt and being allowed to do a Toby and not give away frees.
Hereās a hint, if Eddie is happy and cheering you on you know the dodge is on.
We feel asleep no doubt in the 3rd and thatās on us so really it is on us, but those things that happened in the final quarter were there and would of changed the result.
Letās remember that we had more injuries to our starters and then you look at the squad stats, yet some how itās being pushed as a brave tigers effort. Ffs what a pisstake.View attachment 1128759

The Dusty one unfortunately probably had to go to umpires call because it was too close to tell. Think they got that right.
But hell your team is tough and hard at it and I feel like have turned the corner from last year.

What evidence? The marking contests youāve picked out for studs up havenāt been free kicks for almost two years. Your team is free to play within those rules as well.

Even the commentary, that was actively barracking for the Tigers all game, called it out.
