I will die on a hill about the following:

Hodder is our best two way runner, most damaging tackler and most intuitive going forward.

Dawes is our best ball user and best s”at exploiting turnovers. Without her we get a lot fewer chances at goal.

Koenen is the Harris Andrews of the women’s team. Not sure what we would do without her.

Ellinger is gradually sneaking up on Dayne Zorko impact from the half back. Just clean up that disposal and decision making and she has the rest.

Good games from Campbell, Orla and Svarc.

I really wish we could just be a little cleaner. So many almost chances because of a poor kick or mistimed handball. Clean up our contested work and clearances and we can beat everyone but will need bother level again to beat North.

Slightly irrelevant but happened to turn on the Freo Melbourne game while doing some other stuff. Who authorised those jerseys against each other. Both in shades of dark blue/purple in bright sunshine and from the front little of Dees’ red is visible. It would be hard work for umpires and spectators from a distance. Surely Dees could have worn all red? The AFL seems to pay lip service to clash jerseys these days.

Finally got around to watching the match. Gameplan looks beeter each week, espcially the kick-mark-handball chains. Some of the girls haven't quite got the knack of slowing down the run and balancing before kicking.

Nice to see Grider getting back to some form. She was another who was down earlier in the year. Her kicking is among the better in the team and I think for this evloved gameplan to work she need to be involved more.
