Game Day Round 9, 2025: West Coast vs Richmond

Shows a real lack of understanding I think. Young players really struggle coming on as a sub if we are honest. That role is best suited for a mature aged player for a club like us. Someone who knows how to make a impact right away as opposed to a youngster who gets a bit lost with being able to rise to the intensity right away

For now id like to see Tom Cole/Jayden Hunt to be rotated around as the sub. Someone to come onto the backline and try to provide some sort of run

that was my point. He came on with 10-15mins to go and got caught multiple times, having no chance to adjust to the speed of the game. Either sub him on earlier or start him and then sub later so he can learn more than the piddling amount of time he gets thrown at the end of a game.

At times Grahame and Baker forgot what colours they wear.

Graham had the most tackles on the ground and more than twice as many as any other Eagles player, bar Hough.

I Honestly felt our coaching in last 3 minutes helped us lose
McQualter had us play a lose back giving Richmond a extra at the contest
All those boundary throw ins Richmond one because they had a extra
He should of backed us in to win the contest and get it forward
We had to attach to win and he went ultra defensive was a stupid decision

Yes and Duggan does alright every now and again also. But being ok for a 7-8 year player is not good enough and we need to stop rewarding being ok. Invest in others who may end up being better than ok.

Disagree. He watched Harley get pinged only a couple of minutes ago for not bouncing it. That was what he was trying to prevent.
