Not enough reward for WAFL not enough axing for AFL.

Haven't seen any full WAFL games this year but I've watched all the highlights.

HJ seems to be involved in a lot of the scores, seems like he has a lot of score involvements somewhere in the Beagles scoring plays.

Hopefully he can keep that up at AFL level. Sucks for Owies to get injured but I'd like to see what he has to offer for a few games in a row.

Would like to see Hutch in for physicality. He and Maric can both fly for marks, both could play as wingers or HFFs so there's flexibility there.

Hewett should never have been rushed into the AFL team to begin with, Bo gets dropped one week, back in the main squad the next week.

Cole shouldn't be mentioned anywhere near the team.
Wafl players getting rewarded is not a given, depends on team structure, oppo and horses for courses I'd imagine.
Lets hope we get great metrics and stats again - A Clayton's win!

I'd be leaving out Cole, Johnston and one of Hall/Allen/JWilliams, depending on how you want to structure it. Hall stays if you want him to tag someone, Allen if you want some run down the wing, JWilliams if you want a tall target at FF (CDT is not that yet, he's resting).

He had a pretty lukewarm few weeks in the ones prior to be dropped. So did Davis, but I suspect the fact Bo didn’t lay a tackle in the drubbing by St Kilda, that cost him his spot in the team.

And his response is zero tackles in the twos, not great.

Trying to make sense of the likely changes...

Seems like a shake-up of the forward line is coming with Owies, Hewett and Schoenberg all out after playing mostly forward last week. I don't think Mini is huge on J.Williams so I'd be surprised to see him come in - and would be a bit disappointed if we went back to the 4 talls setup.
Hutchinson straight in to bring a bit of defensive edge to the forward line. I was surprised to see Johnston on the extended bench but he seems like the most likely replacement for one of those three having played up forward in the WAFL.

Edwards straight in so someone has to come out of the backline, and I just think Cole is an obvious out after a poor showing last week. Baker named at HB which is interesting, but reckon he plays up forward again and Allan comes in to play HB/wing.

I don't think the midfield mix changes too much from last week - Reid, Kelly, Yeo our main rotation with Duursma coming in as a part-timer. Maric, Davis, Duursma & Allan to share the wing roles.

Hopefully high half forward, the position that he was actually playing (and playing well) when we drafted him.

I hope they try hall as defensive mid as he has been doing this role in the wafl for weeks and the team needs one. Other clubs find roles for players and it clicks so I’m hoping it happens here.
Johnson has been training and playing half forward role all preseason and year so be great to see him get a chance in his contract year. Pressure I hope.

Who knows where hutch will play because he doesn't have a position at afl level.
