Just chuck him in the ruck in the AFL side. Tell him, you've got a block of 6 weeks or whatever to impress us with something, intent, ruck work, marking... anything or see ya.
Been long enough
Or yeah delist
If you are going to use a points system should use AFL player ratings. More accurate. Still has hewett bottom 5 tho.If Schoenberg is a player offering nothing right now, what the hell is Hewett???
4th year first round draft pick who is still failing to impact games properly.
3 touches and 24 ranking points vs the Dockers.
8 touches and 28 ranking points vs the Tigers.
Out of 46 players on the field, only Tom Cole (46th) was ranked worse than Elijah Hewett (45th).
Schoenberg was the 44th![]()
Why not just play him on the 1% chance he is half decent. We already know Flynn and BW ain’t it.Ridiculous take.
Barnett isn't WAFL level, let alone AFL level. Giving him 6 weeks achieves nothing... we already know he's a dud. He's gonna get de-listed. Everyone knows he's gonna get delisted. Heck, even Harry himself knows he's a dud.
think the point Cuzz is trying to make funk ...is that we either keep them give them a crack or get rid of themRidiculous take.

too often we have players on the list that just drift....they either get an injury stay in the wafl then delist ....or doing nothing in the wafl then delist
barnett is one of those
looks about standardAlready having nightmares about what Gawn and the Pickett's are going to do to us.
Melbourne- 21.14(140)
West Coast- 8.10(58)
So team would beIf it were up to me..
OUT: Cole (dropped/inj), Duggan (dropped), Schoenberg (dropped), Hewett (dropped), CDT (rested)
IN: Bazzo/Edwards, B.Allan, Hall, Gross, Flynn
Bazzo/Edwards: Melbourne have a tall forward line - Gawn/Heath rest forward, Jefferson, van Rooyen and presumably they replace Mihocek with a tall as well. Bazzo been good in the WAFL or Edwards comes straight in.
Hall: Offers grunt both in contested ball and tackling, showed a bit last year when he got a chance. Been good in the WAFL.
Allan: Should've never been dropped, clearly has pace which we lack and has shown he isn't afraid to take the game on.
Gross: Going well in the WAFL, showed a bit last year. Plays the half forward/midfield role Hewett plays. Give Hewett a spell in the WAFL to find some form/confidence.
Flynn: CDT due a rest but absolutely need a second genuine ruck against Heath/Gawn, play him limited minutes as the 2nd ruck. Back to the 2s next week unless he has an absolute blinder.
Me too. He lost a couple of 1 on 1s to bugger opponents but also had a bunch of great intercepts.I actually think Young played pretty well I don't get the calls to drop him. Thought it was his best game for us so far
