Yep, Port Adelaide v Western Bulldogs should be the obvious choice as the stand alone Friday night match for round 9.

As far as i know Port get FTA in SA, they don't rate in VIC.

Unfortunately the Ch 7/AFL execs/Vic State Govt only get their bonuses based on Victorian numbers. Ridiculous really. Nationally the Port v Richmond game was the 2nd highest Nationally FTA rating game this year only after the much hyped but almost always disappointing opening game of the year. It rated higher Nationally on FTA than the much hyped but almost always disappointing VFL era "Blockbuster" between Carlton and Collingwood.

If it has to be a Sunday fixture I've always liked the 11.10am start times for Freo away. Especially after a big Saturday night, having a decent sleep in and waking up in time for bounce down. Games over by 2pm with the rest of the arvo to enjoy hopefully after a win.

If it has to be a Sunday fixture I've always liked the 11.10am start times for Freo away. Especially after a big Saturday night, having a decent sleep in and waking up in time for bounce down. Games over by 2pm with the rest of the arvo to enjoy hopefully after a win.

That would be a pretty sweet time especially after a big night. Wake up, watch footy in bed/in the couch then got the Arvo to do anything you want or Arvo nap
