I know your ranked 3 but im gonna have to disagree with you on these ones. Pav is very consistant always scoring 90's and now they play the blues expect a 100. Cross is very good and consistant like you said but there are better captain options this week. Cross may struggle against the roos as they tend to have less disposals against them.

Franklin vs Dees
Richo vs Dons
Cox vs Adel
M.Murphy vs Freo
Pav vs Carl

all should score 100+

The problem for Pav is the rest of his team, and wether they're going to show up or not. Last week they dominated and so did the Pav, only for 3/4 though(he was on target for 120+). If they get run over by Carlton which is possible, expect a score in the mid 80's to early 90's.

Maybe I'm just ultra conservative with my captain choices(114 avg mind you) but Buddy/Pav/Richo are all risks, and while I think Buddy might kick 9 goals this week, he might go 1.8 also.

Having said all that, if you're in the top 500 and you're trying to make a big move, someone like Buddy as captain could be the gamble you need. I'm going to work on protecting my current position for now

one would think that pendles, burns, lockyer, johnson are far more dangerous

Franklin for me. With Rivers late withdrawal out last week and if Carroll played well then Franklin is definately going to dominate. If there is a possibilty that i player could get 10 goals, couldn't pass that opportunity :thumbsu:

Ablett/Buddy/ Cox - gave up trying to order them

all get the ball kicked to them - dono if anyone remembers last time cox played adelaide but i was so amazed, everyone including priddis & kerr where passing the ball to cox to use. it was amazing.

ablett captain all year really if you have him. geelong love blocking for him and passing to him.

had buddy first out of them to start but i suppose when it is a blowout they could start kicking it to roughead and williams to give em a go and he could kick 12behinds. but really, he is going to get the ball much closer to goal against the weaker teams as the balls coming in will be free flowing and uncontested so much. really think you have to go him if you have him.

Pav-Dominates against carlton is a good captain choice
Chappy-collingwood isnt his best team...not this week IMO
Cox- check out his last few games against adelaide

Kane- playing sydney....averages 20 less than usaul against them
Hayes- should do well against brissy but there are better choices
Cross-allways a good captain choice
Brown-not consistent enough

Cox and Pav are the ones that stand out from that list
