Shaw, Heath- vs. Geelong. Solid scores of 89 and 115 against them last year. And the Cats allow some backman points
Newman, Chris- vs. Essendon. Been in dazzling form in last 2 weeks. 140 & 121. Add to a 162 and a 101 from last year, and Newman looks tasty as a smoky. Although, Essendon don't get the ball into their forward line much, so he might struggle a touch
Dal Santo, Nick- vs. Brisbane. Will get Sherman on him, who has done two good jobs in the last 2 weeks. But he has an average you cannot ignore, 151 in last 5 games against the Lions. Including an average of 170.5 in 2006.
Cornes, Kane- vs. Sydney. Will pick up Kirk/Goodes. Struggled in Round 2 this year against them. But has previously picked up some decent scores
Mitchell, Sam- vs. Melbourne. 131 in Round 1 against the Dees. Been in good form
Cox, Dean- vs. Adelaide. Gonna pick him up this week. Scored 146 this year against them. Up against Griffen who got dominated by White this week. Averaging 147 in last 2 games. And big against Adelaide in the past
Brown, Jonathan- vs. St. Kilda. Coming off a good week. Scored 135 against the Saints last year, and 128 the year before. Will be hard to stop
Franklin, Lance- vs. Melbourne. Destroyed them for 139 in Rd 1. Coming off 2 big scores. Bookmark him for another big one, but hope his inconsistency doesn't kick in, with Buddy not being able to string 3 good games together yet.
Pavlich, Matthew- vs. Carlton. Waite will go with him, as he did with Brown this week. And if not Jamison. Good form. Hard to stop
Rieowldt, Nick- vs. Brisbane. If he's back. Will get taken by Patfull. When he plays Brisbane healthy, he seems to be able to get big scores, the highest being 202.
Deledio, Brett- vs Essendon. Second smoky of the week. Big scores against Essendon last year. Could come good.
In order:
- Dal Santo
- Cox
- Brown
- Newman
- Riewoldt
- Franklin
Got all of those bar Cornes, Mitchell and Delidio. What to do, what to do...
