Crows will be lucky to field 22 fit players against us. They have so many injuries, its compareablt to freos injury run of 2011.
I would say beware of the wounded animal, especially on a Saturday night against a strong opponent and coming off a loss but the injuries are pretty crippling atm. We had 7 of our best 22 out against GWS and then another go off in the 3rd and then another again in the 4th plus an injury to fringe player Kerridge in the 3rd. We should get Smith and Henderson back this week and we're all hoping Laird can get up because he's been one of our best all year.

2nd concussion for Laird this year am I right?

Just watched the replay. Think Subes could come out this week. I know we've been at it for weeks but he really did a few silly things on Saturday. Probably won't be any changes but for mine
Out - Subes
In - Gu

As long as you can go with us in the midfield you're a chance. Sloane will hurt.

And Douglas.

Obviously hoping Laird is fine head wise but him missing frees up Ballas or Walters this week.

Yeah their injuries have crippled them. We have them on every line pretty much. We will have to play very ordinary to lose this.

Only forced outs this week with possibly Suban after that peculiar attempt to tackle, would of woken with a stiff neck for sure. Mzungu the likely replacement and look out if so, he will be an animal out there trying to keep his spot.

Hopefully that's it.

Haha, the race is 4 quarters and Mzungu has Suban well covered there.
I'm not to interested in who would win a marathon between the two, the role Suban is playing is 5m +/- from the centre square trying to gain a foot on his man to handball to Mundy sweeping.

I would have thought Mzungu would easily beat Suban over 5 metres. And thrash him over 3 km.

Suban makes a more direct line at the ball and runs in straight lines, attempting to burst through tacklers. It hardly ever works, but when it does its a 50 metre play. He's a dumb footballer but sometimes you need stupid players to do stuff better players might second guess.

Id love to be in a position to call them both over with my whistle and clip board to find out.

That sort of information is going to be held tightly though.

Cant see a change, but as you've said that neck collision looked bad, but who knows with the neck/head/spine. He would be all sorts of stiff though.

Gu and Croz would be pushing for his spot and Tom would be wanting a start. All would be busting but you get the sense that Gu would be ferocious to keep the spot.

Douglas and Brad Crouch are the other ones from the midfield.

Laird hasn't necessarily been playing on the dangerous small forwards, he's been more of a loose man/sweeper. But considering the quality of you're small forwards that might change this week (If he plays).

Hi fellow AFL enthusiasts. We have a podcast over on the crows board that we record Tuesday night. We're looking for a Freo fan to join us around 10pm EST (8pm in Perth I believe) tomorrow night to have a 10 minute or so chat about the Dockers and the game. I've been led to believe someone like Seppo may be interested, but happy for anyone who's keen to jump onboard.

I think that was a positive, clogged .

If Pav is out then Gu in. Chopper can take over Pav's role. Also I would like to see Suban make way for Crozier but it wont happen

It's the Suban V Mitch Robinson thing all over again. Turns out it's a draw!

Well I agree with you but we all know it is rinse and repeat - no changes this week barring injury.
