I am worried about him, like I was about McPharlin and Johnson in 2014 and 2015.

I want him to play 18 games this year, to ensure he is chery ripe should we make finals.

Meh. That's how they do it over there, obviously it was interpreted as a provocation. I think you should get your likes back soon though but it shows you how careful you need to be on opposition boards.

I guess once you are branded a scapegoat it's hard to shake the tag. Thought all of Ibbotson, Sutcliffe and Pearce played well with the exception of some mistakes in the last quarter, but really they weren't alone there.

I have Ibbo in the same category as Spurr in that he's doing just enough to keep the wolves from the door.

I'd have S.Hill and Balic in for Pearce and Sutcliffe if fit. Neither of the latter were awful, but the ins are immediate upgrades on the both of them.

I was thinking injury. I would love to see Ballas and Grey both in... it would be entertaining as ****, and I am hoping that Ballas will be allowed off the chain with the biff again.

If anyone comes out for Ballas in the forward line, I would have thought it would be Crozier on the thinnest ice. That's assuming Ballas is still an automatic selection.

I'm feeling a bit ambivalent about the F word, to be honest. Would be shit to miss if we were 9th, and the young guys would be great for the experience -- but I also think we would benefit from another good draft to complement our push. I suppose our wins and losses will take care of whether we play finals or not, but I'm not sure resting players that our young side are learning from is necessarily going to be benefit how this year pans out. Hard to say.

I thought Danyle Pearce was really good today, his run and carry was superb with 22 possessions, 4 tackles and a goal. His set shots were pretty bad though. Sutcliffe was okay, nothing special though.

Crozier was shocking early, but really improved as the game went on.
