Christ, calling it a danger game doesn’t mean I suffer from Freo trauma. I said we would destroy North.

And what is Freo trauma? I’ve followed this club for 22 years, it’s not like we hold the record for most wooden spoons. We haven’t been Melbourne or Carlton s**t. The Drum years were f—cked but that was
short. So I’m with Duffield, we’ve been a middling team for most of our history.

I’m going to drink some tea.
Sure we all suffer PTS but seriously every game is danger game. You don't show up, you get done.

I think it's fine to be cautious.

Carlton was a very good win against a similar 'level' side. Geelong a good win away but Geelong are going nowhere fast and will likely be once again irrelevant in September. Saints are good but ultimately probably making up numbers.

Melbourne, Brisbane, Swans and a resurgent Richmond are the teams that look like they have the ability to play at a level that others can't this year.

GC are a bit of a mystery box really. Who knows what will turn up.

I think we can all acknowledge that this is a young team and a sudden rise might not be sustained. If we start matching those aforementioned teams then I'll truly be convinced.

I get all of the ‘don’t want to get my hopes up’ type posts. I genuinely do, but since when have we been smashing teams and having such a spread of contributors and youth everywhere? NEVER.

I’m not blind to a loss. Gold Coast could win. No question. But if I had to bet my house? I’m backing us 100% and not even thinking twice.

25 point win.

Bring it.

Your pre-game posts are porn for the brain.

Legit. I get the whole “burned before” sentiment but I feel bad for people who can’t lean in to this season and enjoy the ride. We’ll have some bumps in the road but the bus moves on. Enjoy it all!

Oh I enjoy it when we win and then watch the replay 4 times fully relaxed. It’s the live s**t that twists my knickers.

Much prefer the Sunday slot. Young fella has footy in the morning then too tired to do anything. Chuck on the slow cooker and watch Sunday footy.
Im so used to Sunday footy now that Friday kind of sucks

Don't agree only Melbourne and Brisbane have shown they're genuine. Sydney are the most overrated side in the comp, they look amazing when the opposition allows them to play their way, not even close to the best teams at the moment. Richmond beating up a few below average teams over the last couple of weeks proves nothing either. They're both four to eight level.

Bulldogs and Port can still fire up I recon. Dogs could win 5 in a row & Port have Geelong away, then a bunch of winnable games. Probably only 1 keeps the wheels on but with some momentum going into finals could be dangerous.

Agree, especially with the huge injury list Dogs have. Just shows how bad Collingwood are for the dogs to smash them by 8 with nearly half their grand final side from last year out.

With us having such a young and inexperienced side there is always the chance of an off game however we have been very consistent week to week in spite of the weekly covid and injury changes to the side.

We are doing almost everything right to get such an even output from a side having so many changes from game to game and a relatively young list.

Hopefully we get the 4 points for a win today. OK, we will win 🤞

Nothing wrong with being positive but then ragging on fellow supporters for expressing concern that this was a danger game (which all indicators pointed to it being) simply make you look like the tool you are

Lucky your all mouth tho , otherwise you d be homeless too
Easy on fella.

I didn’t specifically name anyone. Yet here you are calling me a tool??

If you don’t like my posts all good. You’re also allowed to be brave and counter at the time they’re posted, not hindsight hero stuff.

Posters have been calling danger games for past 6 weeks and I’ve been steadfast in my belief we’d win.

I got one wrong.

No need to call me a tool.

Have you quoted everyone in the last 6 weeks that have called ‘danger games’ and called them tools when they’re wrong?

Why do it this time?

Are you just someone who doesn’t like my style and feel the need to kick the boot in as if I have some actual say in the outcome??

I’ve enjoyed feeling positive entering games. I’ve enjoyed sharing that in my style.

You should block me if I’m not for you.

Yep fair enough.

Just think we already way ahead on our development curve but we ve yet to play to any of the other teams that we will potentially battling it out for top 4(apart from maybe saints -which we lost), until then expecting to win every game (we’re favourites in)in this comp when ultimately we still haven’t done jack as a club is just setting yourself up for disappointment and comes across as bit floggish

Buddy I’ve experienced disappointment for over 20 years. I’m allowed to think positively and voice that in a discussion forum. I’ve done it most of the season, especially the last 6 weeks.

You’re allowed to think I’m a bit floggish.

But honestly, there’s only one coming across as a flog in this conversation.

That’s you by the way.

Last time ..
I never said you couldn’t be positive?,
I simply stated ragging on fellow posters who were simply showing some humility was what made you look “a bit floggish “
