I was at the game and Stewart looked quite good last week and Essendons forward line on the whole functioned quite well. From the games I saw earlier in the year Hooker has looked totally lost when he was playing the forward role. I think his JS will be fine, but I thought the same with Aaron Black when I bought him in

This is not totally SC relevant, but I very much disagree with this. Hooker has kicked 14 goals (ie, just under 2 per game) playing the deep forward role (ie, out of the goal square). This has been so important for our structure as it has allowed JD to roam beyond the arc where he is the most dangerous (and the most accurate). Hooker is a key to our structure and will stay forward.

Stewart's job security will depend in part on his form (obviously) and our structure. He had a good start and I expect will be retained this week. However, I expect that our forward structure will be a week to week proposition and if Woosh thinks we are too tall then Stewart may the one to go (which is likely why he did not play a game until last week despite good form in the 2s). Our medium sized forwards; Langford, Francis and, once he has returned from injury, Laverde may be preferred over Stewart for certain games.

Fair point but to me (from the few times I've seen Essendon this year) he gets caught out of position a fair bit.

You'd think that on recent form and structure that Daniher, McTip, Oraaaaazio and Green are rock solid certain starters, which leaves room for another rotating midfielder/high half forward and/or a another tall mobile sized forward.

Do you think Ambrose would also be in the mix for that spot when he comes back from injury?

Not a bad idea. I've pretty much braced myself on copping 2 donuts this week. Have Yeo in the mids and Nank covering in ruck this week so next week won't be *as* bad (will still need to field Parsons or Hannan at F6 next week :S)
