Weid covers a Defender / Forward / Ruck late out and doesn’t really ‘need’ a VFL game, so that makes sense.

Rather Tsatas, Hayes and Roberts playing full games at VFL level than sitting around seeing if they’re a late emergency call up.

I picked 24 because they're still guys that have upside (especially talls) and people forget how 'young' some of those guys are. Someone like Martin probably still has more to go physically despite already being a fantastic player. It's easy to forget Caldwell is 'only' still 23 as well despite seeming to have been around for quite a while.

Martin would be the all Australian half back if it were announced tomorrow, yet we want to move him to a wing…

You could argue he could've been AA on a wing last year before he was moved to HF. Tomato tomato, he's the type of player who can just about play anywhere. His versatility is his strength.
