Melbourne were/are premiership fancies and didn't lose a lot of strength last off-season so probably won't be an easy game, but it's the last game in Melbourne for the year.

Got no favours from the draw. Been a lot of top teams in our fixture.

I didn't think it was bad... we've got a couple of last season's finalists (Collingwood 11pt L, Brisbane 44pt L, Melbourne tbc R9), a few of the crap teams that aren't expansion sides (Carlton 1pt L, West Coast 52pt W, Richmond 2pt L, Geelong 15pt L) and the other 3 expansion sides (Hawks 26pt W, Sydney 4pt W, Port tbc R10).

If we knocked off Carlton and Richmond instead of coughing up the W we'd be in the top 8... 3 points the difference.

The worst thing imo is not actually having a proper home ground. Played our home games all over the place

It's really tricky though as they don't have a seconds team playing at the same time as the seniors (VFLW season finished in July) so it's hard to beat the door down to get selected.
