Roughead or a fallen mid (Watson, JPK, Lids etc.)?

Heath to Thurlow is locked in, but I'm having trouble deciding on the other choice. I'm having a DT shocker this year so hoping some advice might steer me in the right direction.

Roughead is around $40k cheaper than the mids, but kicks and goals seem to account for more than half his scores. Clarko's been talking him up as a occassional midfielder but he doesn't seem to be sourcing much of his score from those mid bursts.

Can he keep up the scoring or is he likely to drop back to his usual scores?

I'd love to bring Watson in, but my R.13 bye is looking to be a shocker.

I'm trying to decide between Fyfe, Barlow and Watson. I'd ideally like to not pickup any player with a R.13 bye, but Watson will no doubt prove to be the better long-term scorer.

I was in the same position last week. Midfield would be shot in Rnd. 13 if i brought in Watson, so i went Jelwood. :rolleyes: Thanks for the 66.

Bit of a dilemma this week as well.

Evans->A.Swallow
or
Mayes->B.Harvey?

How's that injury he's been carrying?

Was thinking Boomer could be a nice unique pick up with Mayes being a sub choice for Crazy Vossy.

I was under the assumption his knee injury wasn't that bad considering he's hasn't missed a week yet.

Doubt Scott would be risking North's captain and arguably best player if he's in any doubt with a knee injury.

Although in saying that, if it were me, I'd wait another week or so before picking Swallow up as his BE is very high this week (136)

Boomer can quite easily be tagged out of games which would worry me, although he usually bounces back. I think there are better options though. Swallow gets bulk of his scoring through tackles and is a big tackler so always scores at least decently even when he has a stinker of a game. I would wait a week on Swallow like tryonthis said

how long is rivers out for? am actually thinking docherty over thurlow to. but both have shakey JS. hmmmmmm . . . . . . . might just pick up staker instead

Little bit annoyed it looks like Docherty is going to get his third game...seriously considering him over Thurlow...
He has a lot of class about him. Wouldn't say it's urgent to get him in now, but if he has a good game then he should hold his spot. Golby and Yeo are his competition I think. Would definitely get him next week if he holds his spot.

Who should I choose out of cloke, roughead, stokes, robinson, natanui, franklin or zorko?

I brought in stokes this week. Allready have franklin.

I dont like cloke, robinson or zorko, im staying clear of them.

Roughead is doing well with couple of easy games.

Naitanui im thinking bringing in some time in the future

Haha these statements should never be uttered with Voss at the helm.

Golby will always stay in the side, well set in the 22. Fighting with Yeo, but most definitely Clarke. It scares me that he comes in when Clarke goes out, as you need certainty in the bye rounds. Like Premiumtrim said, if you want him in your side I would wait to see he is in the side next week. If you need a back rookie this week, go Thurlow. He has made big impressions at the Cattery.

Agree with PT. Docherty's JS is weak due to Golby's inevitable return.
Thurlow will play his 3rd game in a row this week and will consolidate his position in the team if he performs well,. The Cats are playing a fading Port team so I expect him to score well.

Rockliff let slip in an interview saying Golby will most likely be a late out with Docerty his back up. Very happy to hear from a frustrated owner as well, need him and Crouch to play over the byes.

A week after the injury, should I trade Griffin for
  • Kreuzer who has just about bottomed out and may get back to early form or
  • Golstein as a Premium option or
  • NicNat
At the moment going Kreuz in order to have a couple of other big upgrades over the next couple of weeks

I really like Kreu but looking at his history when he and Warnock play is quite poor. NN would be best I think, or Roughy?
