Cox won't be rested. Sinclair is back on the rookie list, Lycett was injured this weekend in the WAFL and Naitanui isn't fit enough at this stage to be the sole ruck man.

Would be crazy to trade out Birchall. I have avoided him because I thought he would get tagged all season with Suckling out but has shown what he can do when he isn't getting tagged and it's not like there is a heap of back line premos tearing it up. He will be a top 6 defender imo.

I'm torn whether I should pick up Watson this week like I had planned or wait another week and grab Stanton. Not sure how much difference there will be between the two for the rest of the season
I'm going to look at Stanton after his bye. Can't afford to bring any more round 13 midfielders in.

Yeah, I'd only bother with minimal planning. Injuries and suspensions can throw your plan out pretty easily.

I might trade Ellis in this week. That's a warning to all of you to offload him, BTW. Hartlett/Birchall went to shit as soon as I grabbed them.

Ellis will probably be about 400k by the end of this game. I would say the ship has sailed on him.
I picked him up a couple of weeks ago before his big price rises but to pay 400k for him, you would want him to be a keeper.

In my opinion it's well worth having Ablett. Compared to someone like Swallow/Scooter, those extra 10-30 points a round really help. I'd rather have Ablett sooner and then negotiate round 13.

Does anyone think I'm crazy keeping Hartlett? He's about 360k, it's almost not worth sideways trading him at that value. Gotta have a look at my options but I think I'll go Daisy > Thurgood (swing goodes into mids) and Evans or Mayes > super premo.
