It may amuse you to know that I didn't take Hopper after all.

I realised I had enough to do
Wells > Montagna (cheapest Joey will get, and I don't trust Wells injury. Too much carnage right now).
Adams > Simpson (Needed another scoring DEF with Laird on the bench, and Birchall doing a Relton impersonation).

Menadue becomes Hopper next week!

Krujan are you starting him? I'm betting he goes 85+. Big wraps on this kid.

Yep, traded him in at the last minute. The thought of having Menadue on field was enough to convince me that I really need Hopper.

Struggling between Stef and Goldy.

Stef looks off the pace but oh so cheap - can he make it back to 100+?

Goldy carrying a hip but is a monty to finish 110+ ... but is $80k dearer.

If Stef averaged 100 from here on out that would be a win I reckon.

Sam Mitchell.......3 weeks in a row he gets over 100 points. The week he gets 140 something points I bring him in.

Since then I don't think he's gotten more than 80 points for what is it? 4 weeks now? FAAAAARRRRKK!!!!

I had him as friggin' CAPTAIN for 3 of those weeks! I kept thinking "he'll come good" "just wait" "you'll regret it if you make someone else captain" -For ***k's sake!!!

Can't wait to trade him out! ANY $400,000 player would be better....hell any $300,000 player would be better at this stage!

Think I might bring in Treloar.

I looked into Redman myself albeit for for DT due to his M/F DPP and favourable bye week, but on closer inspection, he's a bit raw and skinny for the position he plays (hit up forward) I came to the conclusion that he will score 30-60's for a couple of games (tops) then be dropped and play ressies for the rest of the year once he's had his taste. I could be wrong, but he seems like a development project rather than a useful SC rookie. He could end up being a useful DP doughnut I suppose.

Re- Byrne, I picked him over DBJ when they were both on the bubble as I thought Byrne had more upside to be a bench keeper and strong injury coverage. Slowly but surely it's turning out to be the right decision.

Did the same thing! Im usually very cautious on getting players from the Hawks i thought yeah easy 100 per week.

Then 74, 80 and 47.

Are you suggesting I should've done the captains loophole? Well, it's my first year doing SC so I was only made aware of it just last week.
