Many ways to skin a cat.
I've avoided most of the carnage this year fortunately.

Port Sunday game too so might be waiting till Friday for a definitive call on Drew.

Atleast Crows are on Saturday so we'll see what the vibe is on MCrouch in a few hours. Regardless I'll be holding Crouch for 1.

Also Freo/Saints both on Saturday so we'll know if Bewley or Hind are in this week.

Should be plenty of information to make some levelled trades on a Thursday evening.

Sounds like the big West Indian Joel garner may be making his debut. Could be decent Back rookie for a couple week so till burtan is back.

Careful. With Jonas potentially back next week, the stay may be short lived..

I never 120+ average. I said bonafide 120+ :thumbsu: Like a Josh Kelly, Patrick Cripps, Adam Treloar, Zach Merrett etc etc.
All good just having a laugh. Looking at Kelly myself. hasn't gone below 100 but injuries starting to become prevalent.

Who woulda though Zach Merrett would be listed here after the round 1 ragers

Garner is a running half back type. I doubt he goes out for jonas. If he plays he will be keeping out bonnar, hartlett etc.

Team balance and Ken are not best friends, while he can't get enough of 'last in, first out'..

Who to field Stack/Lockhart/Hore?
pick 2

Lock in Hore on field and never put him in the same category again.

Stack/Lockhart flip a coin. Both have good ceilings and terrible lows. I'd have Stack just ahead of Lockhart purely because of fixtures. (for some reason on these 50/50 calls I just like having 1 player in 2 games rather than 2 players in 1 game). I know it makes no sense, its just how I split on the fence decisions haha.

Also Lockhart has to fly over West. I reckon he'll struggle at Optus in front of us.

In a somewhat morbid way I'm keen to see what happens if no new rookies play for another month or so.

What would happen?

We're almost entering uncharted territory for fantasy in that cows have previously always seemed to present themselves when called upon.

....but what happens if they dont? Fish in the bargain bin? I've already started that concept last week bringing in Dunkley/Ziebell.

Will we be forced to 'Downgrade' to half fattened cows instead? eg. the Lockhart types.

Potentially interesting times ahead.
