With dpp Erasmus can be any rookie. Leaves me with enough cash to turn Bice into Whitfield next week too.

Considered it, but I don't really want to lock in a ruck flex, at least at the moment. Just limits flexibility too much.

Warner is just a no brainer this week?

I have a choice between he or Rankine (Or Libba to Bont).

Both have a low BE, probably going to go with Rankine as the role is clearer long term, I prefer Adelaide's draw slightly, and it's a slightly better bye.

The slightly's and the role offset the dollar differential by providing a higher baseline. Top end scoring is 50/50.


I started Libba because he was the man for the first 6 weeks, less confident with both Treloar and Bont back.

Yep, locked and loaded. He's a $600k ruckman when fit. Worth a punt for me.

Doesn't help cover R1 and R2, but if Marshall misses, Boyd will play, so there's some coverage.

I started Gawn Xerri and TDK, which has scored well but I wouldn’t recommend, it removes the flexibility and fun of flex. Think I might sideways TDK to Marshall for a 100k cash grab, which I will use to bring in Warner.
Marshall’s date with west coast next week looks juicy. And then I might sideways him at his bye for a a mid or def coming off their round 12 bye, just sick of having a ruck occupy flex tbh.

Well yeah, but no rookies that you're trading in at this point of the season have great JS unless they're directly filling a position for an injured player, or they were earmarked as clear best-22 preseason before having their own injury in the early rounds.

Even look at Hustwaite - best rookie we've had in weeks, yet there's every chance he goes out in two weeks' time when Nash is back.

He's good buying this week. Imo he comfortably out scores Warner for the rest of the year at a similar price.

Just clogs up the Flex spot as others have mentioned.

I thought about tdk to roma to fund a upgrade elsewhere.
I reckon they average similar for the rest of the year and roma has the better bye.

Look, if Pittonet came in, I could see the logic. Realistically though, Marshall is unlikely to be a top-three ruck based on current form, and I could see you looking to upgrade him again at some point - not sure the <$100k profit would be worth it for the extra trades you'd be using.

Seeing quite a lot of these semi-sideways moves being proposed this week as some are unable to fund a true upgrade. If that's the case, better to just bank the cash for next week IMO.

Thinking I'll skip Warner and trade Flynn to Neale.

Need some genuine A graders with that sweet sweet KOTD action gollum gets.

Means holding my rookies that are still making money. Flynn could get going again of course, but Neale is a good upgrade on him.
