What is the reasoning for Clugg in a stacked Brisbane midfield?

From a SC perspective he would be behind Neale, Dunkley and Washcroft.

Zerrett is a much better pick.

That's one aspect ....but what if a RUCK has a 1 week injury (concussion ect) ....or is managed ....how do you cover

IF I get Finbar Maley in next week, he achieves both objectives ....flexibility with a RUCK in flex, and injury coverage

He is no longer 3rd or 4th in line, maybe behind Neale but I have him finishing over the others

But he isn't.

Neale will probably improve as the season goes on, but McCluggage is averaging nearly 10ppg more than anyone else in the team.

He's also averaging more than Merrett, despite Zac coming off a 172.

I agree that it doesn't make a lot of sense, but it is happening...

Don't hate the suitcase pick. Had him the past. The issue was he always on the wing, but he is now a CBA mid hence why the ppg avg has increased. Don't hate the pick, but if you want stability you go Merret.

Have a look at Zac Merrett’s insanely consistent averages over the years. He is as safe as putting your money in the bank.

Bont's current average isn't going to last he will come down in price at some stage.
His scoring in the 2nd half of last year was a bit underwhelming apart from a couple of big games. Definatley a must have but I will wait until after his bye and hopefully he drops $50k by then.

Yep, one of the reasons I got him in last week, figured I'd have him to myself for 4 weeks.

I also like low ownership VC's, Bonts a nice fallback when that only works 1/5

With Busslinger and Lorenz dropped I'm tossing up between Fonti (who will be onfield) and Boxshall (who will be on my bench) as my downgrade for Prior.

Gets Jordan this week though, my only concern. Has killed him in the past. My only hesitation in brining him in this week

I already have NWM, so no Sinclair for me or Warner as depending on Darcy 75% I'll bring in Jackson instead, my team has been crap since Jacko went on holidays I'm sure that will fix my crappiness

And probably Sheezel if he keeps his back role for my last D, but probably will be Mid instead of Naicos and bring in Ash/Clarke in D - hopefully I can keep Frejah as a M/D E

Brock will be in an out but he looks first in if Gov or Allen are out, which given their histories is pretty often. Can be a handy loop player the rest of time given WCs late games most weeks
