Fwiw, no jokes or anything, L Ryan looks 4-5kg overweight and he was working up the fat sweats on the bench the other night, was huffing and puffing like you wouldn't believe.
Been looking at him, too, still might, just on price / history, but not sure what go is. He was unable to fully train a couple of times of late, he might have some sort of niggle. Or he just likes a deep fried Mars Bar.

Lmao thought the same thing when I first saw him. Fatter than Stringer at his peak fatness

I really like the LDU pick. He seems to have flat patches most seasons and still ends up averaging ok. He'll probably end up averaging 100-105 for the season given history so hopefully goes 105-110 for the remainder and makes a decent m6-8.

LDU always hits a rich patch after the byes .....it's a strange phenomenon

TDK is the last of your (or anyone’s) issues.

Too reactive, IMO. If Pittonet randomly gets named I'd give it a touch more thought, but outside of that, wouldn't do it. Prioritise rookies off field, TDK has been more than fine.

Depends on what you could do with the boost otherwise. I think its also important to consider the round 12 bye. Part of the reason im doing the trade now is to avoid having an extra gun out in round 12. I think in isolation TDK > Gawn is a decent trade, given their respective scores and price projections its (almost) now or never. In saying that, it really depends on the rest of your team and the set up for round 12. If you could do the trade without using a boost i think id be more in favor of it. Good luck with what you choose

In the same boat but with TDK to Xerri.

Although TDK has been more than fine, I do feel Pittonet will come in soon.

Plus, I’ve had enough having a mental breakdown every time I watch Xerri play as a non owner . He’s a must have and could push $700k+ at this rate, so rather get him now before it’s too late.

So I’d say go for it if you’re comfortable with you rookie/team situation like I am.

Rage boosting this week after last week's debacle:

Option A: Daniel/Flynn/Prior > Sheezel/Warner/Fonti (preference).
Option B: Flynn instead of Bice to bring Boxshall in over Fonti.

While I don't see Flynn getting dropped this week after watching Mini's press conference (more likely for midfield changes over ruck) and the risk of him doing well against Nank, I think Bice has better scoring potential at least until the byes. Daniel to Sheezel is a bit sideways to some, but I don't see Caleb as a keeper after the last few weeks, particularly with Sheez back down back stealing chips (and rightly so). Rankine now out of reach so the Chad is in with the hope he keeps midfield % up with Mills coming back in.

Forward and defensive lines now complete (assuming Maric is a keeper and Sincs/Holmes are eventually swung back) leaving me 20 trades, one boost and $3k ITB to work out my mids.



The risk taker in me has a close eye on Kiddy, Pou and Rachele over the coming weeks. All three have sky-high potential.

I'm dropping Roberts to fund my Butters trade, as I want to ride the Bice train all year, at the least he'll be my D7at some point.

My set up is a tad different thou, Bice is my D6, and moving Holmes from the mids to make room for Butters.

Also I have the Lizard, backing him in from here over Roberts, either way he's more fun to watch (started all 3 Swans, worked well, my best round was their bye for some reason)

Yeah, but everything I did that year I came up Gold, made 2 big errors but more than made up for it with 5/6 against the grain Kenney moves.

Had a really bad year pain wise, and couldn't see the screen some weeks -can't remember but got the wrong twin in at some point, just laughing at my stupidity's got me through the year - Kept Jeremy Howe all year and captained him a couple of times, just like watching him play-don't think anyone else had him- and still somehow spent 17 weeks in the top 100.

Just doing the same thing again this year (ranked 20k lower mind you), only bringing in players I like watching, doing my own thing, don't care were I finish up as long as I have fun doing it.

im hoping flynn can bounce back with a respectable score, whilst his BE is still relatively low.

option A is essentially 3 starting players for 2, so on that, id go option B.
