Well, I went ROK and I am a Geelong supporter .

It was a risk as ROK doesn't seem to be in great form so my choice was based on potential.

He is in sensational form. Playing on the ball and getting a heap of it. Scored over a ton against your lot and went even better v the eagles even though they tried to tag him. Even when he wasn't scoring well, it was because he was in a role that doesn't suit his strengths (ie permanent stay at home forward drawing the best defender while Hall and O'loughlin were out). Nothing to do with form.

Stevie J may well out score him from here on in, who knows. But not because ROK isn't consistently putting up tons. Just pray O'loughlin and Hall stay on the park.

It is also worth mentioning that I've played the last few weeks with at least 1 donut, usually 2, but have still managed to score consistently over 2100 so I can't see why I wouldn't be able to keep that up. The only negative I can really think of, besides the obvious disadvantage of playing a man down, is that I'll be relying on Rance, Broughton, Petrenko to break back into their respective teams sooner rather than later which is a risk, and I'll be a man down until they do.

Thoughts?

trade Hill to Grimes and Petrenko to a keeper. you should have about 540 to spend and it makes ur backline pretty strong.
OR

trade Hill to Grimes, cop the donut and get Ablett in a couple of weeks

Keep milburn, thats easy. petrenko is a spud but not worth trading..

bugger off malceski to grimes for sure, and pending pettards b/e and price. upgrade him now or later.. or, if pettard is worth more than malceski, trade him to grimes to minimise ur melb exposure...

Pavlich by a mile would be my choice. Started the season slowly, but is a proven SC performer, and an absolute champion.

Chapman would be my next choice... but always has the ''injury'' potential!

Sorta depends on how your side pans out... for instance my forward line is the weak point... so I looked at improving that.

T. Tuck is a funny one... when he scored the 120 or whatever it was Round One, so many of us thought we were genius'... But I think I may get rid of him next week too... even though he has a high b/e.

was only going to do Houlihan to Grimes this week. Then realised i could get Goodes for Beams. So i did it. Which means i have to bench 1 of Otten or Rich. Then in a few weeks i can downgrade one of them and upgrade the other

Rich is on the bench considering they are playing the Saints. This will give me more money in my upgrades at a later date. hopefully they will be 400K plus, which frees up about 320K (got 10K left now) so i could do Rich/ Otten to a rookie and the other to Ablett in 2 weeks

Bring on the 90+ scores Otten and Rich

and the no more than 110's from Gablett!

Thought process was -

Brown has pretty much peaked out and extra 118k made from trade seemed juicy. Sidebottom looks solid enough and with 3rd game coming up looked ripe for the picking.

Houlihan... who knows whats going on!? Grimes such obvious choice and stands out like dogs plums! Another 190k saved.

I wouldn't be too concerned about your rucks... you have Cox and he is the stand out.

Your midfield looks ok, why don't you give Tuck a second chance in the hope he comes good as you may have other dramas elsewhere.

I reckon you need a premium added to you backline and forward line.

The only way that Beams' price has peaked is if he gets dropped. He should clearly be avging 65-75 based on previous output which would easily get him up to 300k (70k more than he is worth now)

look at beams average and breakeven. he is also struggling to hold his spot. if he were in my team, i'd being going beams > sidebottom.

I have 300,000 which I left out before. Wouldn't mind one more star for my midfield but I'm thinking I'll leave that till later weeks. What would you think of Goddard for Adcock (or even Hill.S),

I'm thinking it is a much of a much if I upgrade my defense or forward line first but will probably do do both in the coming couple of rounds.

Beams avg is skewed by the fact that he was injured in the game against nth and prob wasnt right to come back against carlton resulting in 2 scores of 40.

i would suggest he has been rested this week because he is still not back to perfect fitness and subiaco would be too dangerous on a young kid in that situation.

If you look at his avg, discounting the games he was injured it is 70 points per game, definitely one of the stronger rookies out there.

and Malthouse said after the game last week that he would be looking at getting some games and experience into Beams this season.

Im not saying Beams to Sidebottom is a terrible trade, but looking at statistics in isolation will only get you so far.

5,700ish i'm ranked... seems weird cos my team is alright, but i had a few bad weeks and i aim to start slow and come home strong and win the leagues im involved in for cash

Cheers pol. Its a tough one. Especially since Krakouer might be doubtful this week (Apparently heard on Adelaide radio this morning). If I go with Krak >> Pav or Adcock >> Prem, I should still have enough for MBrown >>> Steel next week. Which is another option.

Yeah I thought about stevie j but I get so frustrated with players who are inconsistent.

I was worried that davey my start to tagged but with Green and Mclean back in the team I think they'll take priority.
