Yeh I know that, it's not so much a matter of how much they will continue to go up, but who will be better in the long run if I have to keep one of them for the year as an emergency? Taking into account I can't trade out everyone!

Walker has had that 1 good score, and plenty of shockers, who is more likely to ave around 60-70 for the year?

I think you have your heart on getting rid of Adcock so maybe get rid of him.

But now with Krakeour out you may want to upgrade him or M.Brown.

AFLRocks have u given thought to Thornton (CARL) at all? Wont get tagged as Gilbee will & scoring well.

I had actually considered him but would have had to trade out Milburn to do that and pretty keen to hang on to him.

I've decided to do Petterd>Grimes & Maceski>Gilbee...

I'm still worried that Broughton will be a late inclusion. If I still do my planned trades I'm only bringing in one starting player (Grimes) this week, and one possible (Broughton). Still makes me a decent wedge of cash to use next week though. If he was definitely out I could bring Gilbee in without worrying about it.

Anyone heard any more whispers (there's a mention that he flew over with the team on the Freo board, but that's not conclusive evidence)?

On Broughton - I'd rather take the punt that he won't be named and leave the trade-in to save picking up a guy who looks like he might be on the fringe all year, based on his dropping this week.

In one week, out the next = slow price movement = donut warning

I was all set to get him in too and it's crossed my mind to do it anyway. But I'll be trading in a donut with Rance & Hurley injured.

I think I'll let the HMAS Broughton sail out to sea and join the HMAS Beams I almost got on too. Honestly, the unreliable track record of rookies this year makes downgrades very hard.

However, I expect to be getting on board the HMAS Sidebottom this week

If he hits his average again he'll go up by $70K-odd, so around $150K. A lot of cash to miss out on. Although my (usually cynical) North supporting colleague is convinced that they'll give the Dockers a walloping tomorrow, so even if he does play he may not hit those dizzy heights...

Tricky.
Adcock probably won't lose too much more value, whereas BJ might drop a bit this week, even if he has a big game (I'm of course hoping he does...), so you might be able to pick him up a little cheaper down the track.

Skipworth, if/when he returns, still has some cash to make, and Pav is about as low as he'll get for a couple of weeks at least.

On balance I'd think Skippy-Pav, merely because even if he's not doing that well, at least Adcock is playing, while Skippy is wasting away on your bench like he is mine...

Both upgrades are excellent though- I've got Goddard, and will have Pav soon (quite possibly at Skippy's expense).

trade Hill to Grimes and Petrenko to a keeper. you should have about 540 to spend and it makes ur backline pretty strong.
OR

trade Hill to Grimes, cop the donut and get Ablett in a couple of weeks

Thanks for the advice mate.

Those 2 options are really the only ones I am considering at the moment.

I am thinking of Hill to Grimes and Rance to Lockyer, leaving Petrenko and Broughton on my bench. If I trade Petrenko to Grimes and leave Rance and Broughton on my bench, I will not have enough to get Lockyer and will have to settle for someone like Newman or Enright.

If I do the Hill to Grimes trade I will cop a 0 but will, in a few weeks down the track, assuming that Rich/Otten rise a little more and Ablett falls in price over the next few weeks, be able to swap one for Gazza.

Who would you guys bring in out of Newman (+50k) and Waite?

Waite has been scoring well all season and getting plenty of the ball all around the field.

Newman has become a bit of a worry over the past few days, especially with all the news coming out about his 'talk' with Terry Wallace. I'm worried that it might play on his mind from here on out. But that extra 50K I'll get with him could go a long way to fixing up the rest of my team.
