Houlihan should be back soon which will give your cash cows a few more weeks to fatten up and give you some breathing space

Your team has enough guns in it to cool off on the trades for a week at least I reckon? Especially if Ablett comes back next week.

Besides, your option B keeps your man Petrenko in your team!

Why not just go Petrenko-Grimes?

This week I'm planning to go: Hill > Grimes & Malceski > Waite (or Newman/anyone around that price range)

Do you think that its in my best interest to bring Waite in now? After this week, he'll almost be at 530k, which I would think is near his ceiling.

I really wanna get my backline out of the way and offload Hill and Malceski before they start their price decline.

The Grimes or Broughton trade depends on your purpose of the trade.

If you want him to make cash then go Broughton, if you want less cash but option of being keeper than Grimes. For me, I'm going Broughton as I have Zac as my first emergency. And the extra 80k will be useful.

Don't forget the extra $80k is the difference between getting a rookie to $300k (which is much easier) than $380K.

Petrenko didn't look good man (based on stats)...by with that trade you won't make cash

I think I may go Hill > Grimes who I consider as a keeper for my 7th back and Houlihan > Newman.

Defense will then be Goodard, Fisher, Cornes, Gilbee, Newman, Grimes, Broughton. (Petreno, Rance)

It'd also probably be better spent upgrading Taylor Walker or Mitch Brown whom are both starting due to Higgins being out.

Down to 12 trades remaining.......with 221k remaining; Tuck/Malceski will go...is it wise to trade both out this week if no other injury worries !? Who would be ideal replacements.
Also what to do with M. Brown/Yarran (fwd emg's), Rich, Macaffer/Beams (Mids emg's).

* Yarran i'm willing to hold onto, as i've added him only recently...and i see plenty of upside in him...as with Macaffer - but for how long !? is M. Brown leveled/bottomed out.

* Rich & Beams; i'm not sure of what to do !? are they keepers or still cash cow material. Are they too good to be handy players sitting as emg's at the pointy end of the season.

Advice please on all points....

im gonna bring in grimes before round 9 (like everyone else) for either Petterd, Petrenko or Hill. I'm willing to wait for Houlihan, cause i have the depth on the backline.

Also, im considering Ben McGlynn (228,300), who has had scores of 85, then 109, and is going up next round. He can be forward or midfielder, and ill probably trade one of my forward rookies for him. Only problem is though, will he still be playing once Hawthorn get their best side together, or will he get dropped??? Can a Hawthorn supporter answer this for me?

Why you would want Hodge in your team at all has me stuffed.

Really bleeding that I traded in L Power back in rnd 3 (due to massive holes) He was not the right choice.

Unless something drastic occurs I dont plan on trading again until week 14. (after the bye)
