Personally, if Tom Collier makes Brisbane's 22 I'll be getting Broughton and most likely O'Keefe.

I'd say i'm still going to get Broughton, smells very much of a late change although after reading the fremantle board and seeing matchups and position changes for this week it shows why Broughton would've been first on the chopping block. Fremantle's plane has been delayed 4 hours flying out of Perth due to wild weather. So i guess we'll know by some stage tonight as to exactly who has travelled.

I'm now leaning towards a Petrenko > Broughton, Hill > Newman. So torn though, even if broughton comes in i'd still cop a blob from ****ing bock

Yes agreed, Petrenko is finished.. For me, most likely Petrenko > Grimes and Hodge > 563.9k defender. Backline premo are Newman,Fisher,Cornes,Bock and Hodge.. Could go Gilbee or Burgoyne as they are cheaper then Hodge and could help with the removel of T Tuck..

Who else at 350 or below has this:

At worst will score 70-80.
Will get selected every week unless injured.
At best will score 90-110.

I think there is a good chance that Dempsey will start putting in regular 90+ games from here on in. IF not, well I've wasted a trade or have a 7th defender scoring 70-80 instead.

Last 5 rounds he has averaged 63 so his worst is a lot worse than you are predicting. At worst realisticly he is 50 - 60

If your set in stone on the 350K figure these players would be better options that are close to that figure.

I'd rather McLeod, Joel McDonald, McPharlin are just a few. If you can spend a little more, Addcock at 370 is a hell of a lot better.

If your set on getting a Bombers player then grab Hooker, Pears or Hurley when he gets back. They're cheaper and will work more for you than Dempsey ever will.

If you can't spend any more than 350K I would choose a cheaper player like Hooker otherwise crunch some numbers, bring Dempsey in would be an absoloute waste.

Tuck has done his dash. BE of 108, hasn't even looked like touching that since round 1. On the extended bench also. Sidebottom looks reasonably safe in the Pies side even with a few "guns" to return over the next few weeks. Would leave this trade til next week but for Sidebums price hike and lack of any other quality rookies in the mids.

Broughton out has changed my thinking a little. It was going to be (pending team selection) Hill and Suban out, Broughton & Grimes in this week to fun gun upgrades next week. I can do Hill> Grimes, then Suban> Gilbee, leaving me with $40K for next week, when perhaps Broughton gets a run again, and I can downgrade/upgrade Malceski/Raines/Petrenko to (most likely) Newman.

Will of course wait as late as possible to see if Broughton is a chance, but if he's definitely not playing the above trades look good, yes?

Willing to play with the dounut if Broughton isn't a late inclusion for Headland.

I figure that I will be a hell of a lot better off than last week even with a man down as I have drafted in two 100 point scorers and got rid of a non playing player in Houlihan and an iffy one in Hill.

Having one man down is like losing Spudrenko for me as he was my 7th back last week. And losing 15 or 21 points is nothing really considering I have drafted in two better scorers.

I think I have done the right things anyways. Just hope that Broughton gets a late call up or is back next week.

I'd go Houlihan to Grimes and then Rich to a gun midfielder if I was you.

Your pushing uphill big time with such a weak ruck division (Kreuzer, Mumford) when most ppl have Cox, McIntosh by now which pwns you, plus you don't have Ablett or Goddard or a lot of the big names, you can't get all those now with your trade and 9 trades left so I would be looking to take a punt if I was you. Don't know how you can get that side up though. Houlihan and Tuck out is a good start, I did the same thing.

If I was you I would cash out Hodge for Grimes and make a quid, plus your 74k then upgrade Petrenko to Gilbee or maybe you can afford Newman after that. Or better.

That's the most logical move for you because then you won't have any 0's this week plus Broughton and Cheney on the bench is nice, they'll be around and making some points whereas Petrenko does jack.
