I remember when you said this, and I assumed that "late" meant on Fridays as Rizzo originally stated that teams should be posted by Thursday nights.

The penalty should stand IMO

I'm in with Blueworms. Hawks coach stuffed up no one else did! It would be different if everyone stuffed up because then no one would get advantage at all. But when only one person does it, not only once but twice. Not to speak about the times he hasn't put in a side.

Here we go this is what I said

from now on there are no excuses for not submitting a team. If it's late you won't necessarily lose the points.

Third time in four weeks without any reason and the leniency is gone. Two point penalty will stand. System from now on:

First time: warning
Second time: penalty
Third time: extenuating circumstances permitting, booted

Kangaroos are on 1, Hawthorn on 2.

Those penalties are for not posting by the time I save the page. Therefore if you post before the first game you're definitely safe, otherwise you're taking a risk. While I haven't yet, if I happen to save the page at 7:41 and you post at 7:42, that's your problem not mine. I suggest to people who don't always have time to post between Thursday and Friday night post your teams earlier in the week and then edit them when you've seen the teams. (And if anyone does that don't have others cram the thread with abuse about doing it. That may cost you points too)

It was in the thread you made the subject heading, "YOU NEED TO POST A TEAM EVERY ****ING WEEK", or something to that effect - I think you've deleted it.

I did put my team in late so if you want to deduct 2 points then fair enough. Sorry to the organisers and Gaz especially.

(Don't think teams should have to be in on Thursday night - thats a bit extreme considering they are only announced Thursday evenings).
