Having a small play at this

Surprised at the amount of people backing the Lions..

Yeah on face value it does look stupid taking a team with 0 wins but I think people are more backing against north than actually betting on the Lions if that makes sense. Brown is a big inclusion and I think the 8 weeks off doesnt worry most people because it was a facial injury not a muscle tear so he should be relatively fit and he does make a big difference to that team no one can deny that.

The lions have also been ok the last month and if you are willing to forgive the abortion against the Suns then they are pretty well in and at home helps. They are far from good things but throwing them in a small multi is probably the way to go rather than loading up on them to win by plenty.

the lions have been losing but they have been within a few goals every match, bar i think the Dogs.

Browns played one half of footy this season, Lions were on their way to beating Freo that game..
they arn't that bad of a team, playing at home, you'd think they would break their duck

just lost $350

had Geelong HT/FT double at $1.93

draw at half time so unlucky

lost on Collingwood last week because of that umpiring desicion. pretty much $1600 down the drain because of luck.

still up $1000 but my profit has eradicated rapidly in the last two weeks.

Geelong are Flying! After being written off after last year this team has tweaked it's game style slightly and is on fire! Normally you would suggest a team coming off a huge win like geelong over the Pies would be in line for a letdown. But this Geelong outfit has done all this before. They won't be getting carried away with a big win in May. Carlton have impressed and are looking a likely top 4 team. I still have doubts on their defense and if Judd doesn't fire they do tend to drop off. Carlton will go in to this one having had recent success over the Cats. But those 2 loses were at the MCG, looking through the stats the Geelong has not fair as well at the G as they have at home and at The dome! And this one is at Etihad! Geelong has won all 8 matches between these two sides at the Dome and play under the roof extremely well.

Just going back to the Blues back half, the inclusions for Geelong could prove very smart additions. Taylor Hunt will take one of the Blues quicks down back, Milburn can play small or tall forward or back and the young ruck man on debut Vardy will most definately be pushed forward along with Ottens to really stretch the Blues back half. Jamison and Thorton will be occupied by Pods and Hawkins, who takes the next tall? Then you have S.Johnson, Chapman, Bartel, And Stokes roaming through there.... Headaches are on the cards for the Blues!

Geelong just seem to have the Blues covered in all match ups and as they play this ground as well as the do Skilled Park they have the edge! Will the passing of one of Geelongs favourite sons in Bob Davis play any part? Who knows but Cats to win and cover here tonight. Geelong by 25+
