Round 9

A very frustrating round so far been down units despite leaning Freo, Richmond and the Lions before the round started. Jack missing the FG last night by bad bounce and Clarke spraying early shot have compounded this frustration. For today I have Dangerfield (19) and Sidebottom (21) for FGS.

Adding:
2.2U WCE ML @1.74 (Sportsbet)
2U COLL/ADEL 1H <89.5 (Centrebt)

I am such an idiot. Why the fck did I think that the pies game was at the g, a mate has just informed me. Adding:
2u pies -25.5 1h @1.92

I'm thinking the Swans should get up. Not sure about the over/under though. These are my bets

Got some juicy ones for today

Tipster: The Oracle
Event: Sydney V Hawthorn (SCG)
Date of Event: 22-05-2011
Time of Event: 14:10
Sport: AFL
Tip: Shaun Burgoyne to beat Adam Goodes most goals
Odds: $3.5
Units: 3
Sportsbook: Centrebet
Comments: Burgoyne has been playing various roles not always forward but $3.5 is still great value given he's averaging 1.4 goals per game.

I dont get it, is he the oracle or is he posting someone elses tips? If he is the oracle wtf is the oracle?

That's me mate I'm just under a different name where I record my tips. I know it looks stupid but I don't want to have multiple Big Footy profiles, pretty sure that's not allowed and I've been using this since I signed up.

Read 2 posts from you in last 24 hours, both doing a good job to slip in the self-props...

Sorry, thats all I picked up from reading the posts.

self props ? my posts were not talking myself up they were in fact saying negative things about myself. My first post i gave my thoughts on some of the weekend matches for those who may be interested. Isn't that what a forum is for after all. Notably I told people that I thought that Hawthorn was good value if people wanted to try there luck saying that they have as good a chance at winning that bet as they do of losing. Guess what Hawthorn won so yes I did contribute to the discussion of this thread about round 9 matches.

you were correct in one bet
you're sharp :thumbsu:

I'm going to have introduce a new rule when i bet, never touch Sydney games!!!

I think i have lost money on every game involving them, Cost me the $20 Challenge.

I have watched carlton play a few times this season. They are a good team no doubt but I feel that there win loss record is a little inflated and so a bit indicative for the match against geelong. I am going to say Geelong by 3 or 4 goals.

St Kilda should beat melbourne but wouldn't trust them.

I understand why people say brisbane should beat North Melbourne but unless you want to take a 50/50 chance I wouldn't be putting money on it. I don't know how anyone can justify putting money on a team that hasn't won a game after playing 7 games.

Richmond Vs Essendon match is an interesting one. If watson was playing i think Essendon would be great value, he isn't which means depending on how well richmond play they could upset Essendon this week. I wont be surprised if Essendon continue on the merry way but I wont be putting money on that game as I haven't watched richmond enough this season.

Hawthorn could be good value if you want to take a 50/50 chance. If Carlton can beat sydney I don't see why Hawthorn can't. Of course Hawthorn isn't as reliable as some other teams.

Why is everyone on this board so nasty? are there any nice people here?

I said Geelong would win and they did.

I said I understand why people think brisbane would win but it is going to be a close match and could go either way, that is exactly how it turned out.

I said richmond could upset Essendon if they play well, they did play quite well and won the match.

As already mentioned I got hawthorn right.

people on this board seem like they just want to say nasty things towards you any chance they can get. I am assuming you didn't even read my match analysis I put up. You still took the chance to be a smart arse which is even worse then if you had read it. why say anything if you don't know if i got one match right or not. Everything I said was right, and no that doesn't mean it always will be. I just wanted to contribute to the discussion thats all I don't know why everyone has to treat me like this. Even if it was only one match at $2.16 that was a good bet.
