Just saw on news ... head butting by Al Halil players ... spitting by an Al Halil player on a WSW player after the match sparking a brawl. Laser lights shining in players eyes ... what?

At least two of them were plain as the nose on your face. But with some referees having been recently fooled by diving I think the pendulum may be swinging too much the other way and they are ignoring it when a player goes down. From what I heard this referee had been fooled in the World Cup.

ONE looked like the player ex-agerated with a dive but the handball was clear cut ... The sideline judge could have called it?

The replays I saw only showed the dives, maybe the first was slightly exaggerated but there was clear contact. The one where the goalie took his legs out, I don't know whether the ref didn't give that as he wouldn't have recovered the ball anyway, but that shouldn't matter, a trip is a trip.

The Wanderers sure are making it almost impossible for the Giants to make any ground in West Sydney, they could win 2 of the next 3 flags & still have less of a supporter base than WSW.

I must admit whilst I enjoyed watching the Wanderers become the first local league become Asian champs they had an easier job than the Reds playing Gamba Osaka who were crazy good at the time.

It's alright Scorch, Liverpool are continuing the standard of not living up to expectations.

Nah not really, the only season lately that Liverpool haven't lived up to expectations was last season.

I just want a year where we're not in a ****ing relegation battle and play something approaching watchable football.

****ing Southampton and West Ham can bounce up from the Championship and do it and we're stuck in this rut with an owner that doesn't care, a manager who is very low on ideas and key players who want out like rats from a sinking ship.

Rememberance day and the anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down has made me think of the many battles the English v Germans on the battlefield and sporting field.

A mate went and watched an England v Germany game at Wembley aroumd 1990 or 1991 maybe 1992 and he told me as soon as the game starts a big chunk of the pommy crowd chants
"Two world wars and one world cup do dah do dah"
for all of the game! No idea if they still do this.
