Phew, we're hosting the inargural FFA Cup final after a 3-2 win, to be played at Hindmarsh on December 16, 7pm kickoff.

So here we go, the only two original A-League clubs without a championship to their name to duke it out in the final. Winner gets the keys to the city, loser can officially be called the least successful club in A-League history.

3-1 down after 32 minutes when I turned it on. Reds score a 2nd goal direct from a free kick but the ref pays the victory a free that was difficult to see, to say the least. Then a penalty from Carusca getting bundled over in the penalty area. Commentators seem to think it was soft but it isn't footy. so 3-2 near halftime. If it remains at this after 45 it won't be too bad.
Didn't see the earlier goals but 4 in 32 minutes generally means there has been some slack defending.

That was pathetic, joke defending in that first half!!! Still have mental demons against this annoying mob that our players can't seem to get over. Unless this all changes, I give us absolutely no chance of us winning any silverware this season.

Obviously Rodrieguez and Van Persie from the world cup are two of them, but the other one is this ridiculous Thierry-Henry-reminiscent dream goal scored in a women's game where the chick juggles it twice with her back to the goal then smashes a volley in from 30 yards. I don't think i've seen a better goal.

The maths speaks for itself.

Again Adelaide were well on top in nearly every stat but unable to convert. This can be endured for the odd game but it happens too often to Adelaide.
