In the last week of the EPL we have Manchester City top on with 80 points from 36 games and GD 59, Liverpool second 80 points from 36 games GD 50, Chelsea 79 points from 37 games GD 43. Manchester City have Aston Villa(14) and West Ham(12), both at home. Liverpool have Crystal Palace away and Newcastle at home. Chelsea have Cardiff(20) away.
On that it looks like the title will go to Manchester City but anything can happen in the late stages of the EPL.

Well, city won 4-0 this morning, & it's now their title to lose. It also guarantees Chel$ea will go 2013/14 without any silverware, which will obviously make their owner very mad! I can imagine their supporters singing to José Mourinho 'you're getting sacked in the moooorninggg'!

What an epic choke by 'Pool. Pity our 'noisy neighbours' have it in the bag with 2 home games, talk about a soft draw...

Soft draw?

The Villa midweek game was postponed due to our cup/Champions League ties.

Everton away and West Ham at home was our finish to the season. One home one away like every other club. On top of the fact that every one plays each other home and away ONCE. There are no soft draws in the premier league everyone is equal. I'm not sure how you expect it to be fairer than that. Especially as most Rags were salivating at finishing the season home to Hull and away to Southampton.

Well until Moyes got his mits on the squad anyway.

I remember when the FA Cup Final was a fixture on my sporting calendar. I didn't even know it was on last night. The shift to the later timeslot did me in, just not as young as I used to be. ;)

But I can't recall any advertising for the game on SBS and I watch the station a bit. For the news stories of course. :p

Of course it was going to take 120 minutes. Nothing comes easy at the Arsenal these days.

I tell you what though, if Aaron Ramsey doesn't get injured in December, we might well have been in the EPL title race a little longer than we were ...
Seems to be a regular theme at Arsenal, year after year it's an injury decimated season. Something has to be up with their fitness program.

SBS = Sex before soccer.

Ninja Warrior and B-movies.

And in La Liga, Athletico Madrid are champions. The first time since 2004 that neither Barca or Real have won the title.

Now if we had Sand Hoe as our coach he could see where I am going with that.

Well Sunderland's win over Man United (is werner anywhere to be seen?) means my Norwich boys will go down. They can't cut the mustard at this level. They will be back though.
Sorry to see your boys go down, Andy, but in the end , it was almost yours against mine!

Sunderland's miracle will go go down in folklore, the greatest escape ever? For me, an easy yes. With 7 matches to go, 7 points behind, and a nightmare finish, to hold the champions at home, a win at Chelsea is never easy, and a first win at Old Trafford in my lifetime, plus all the other wins ......

Getting dizzy just thinking about it all over again.......

F@#$in Unbelievable!!
