After yesterday's games, we are only 1 point from 2nd spot, as the mariners lost 3-1 to Perth, WSW drew 1-1 with the Roar, & the Jets & victory drew 2-2.

If only the ref didn't have a howler in our game on Friday, otherwise we would be 2nd!

Graham Arnold sacked from his Japanese club after just 6 matches, I wonder which A-league club will jump at the opportunity to get him back, Sydney maybe?

Wow, that is a shock although I am not sure of the results but 6 games is hardly enough time for a new manager.

You would think The Bling would snap him up in a heartbeat.

I heard on FSN that in the 6 games he's had 4 losses & 2 draws but his teams conceded 16 goals I think & only scored 2, the side is 17th in an 18 team competition.

Should be huge. 83,000 turned out for Man U.

Just about all of Leichhardt and Fairfield will be there. Not sure how many non Italians will go to watch La Vecchia Signora.

Still mad with that Williams ref, if not for his howler-of-a-performance, we'd still be in a great position for a home final.

Just have to prey that both the ***** & Sydney lose if we're any chance of playing a home final, otherwise we're boned.

If we do play the ***** next week, then hopefully today's game will be a bloodbath, with the Victory's arrogant pest thompson doing an ACL, milligan to get a headache, babarouses to do a hammy & troisi to severely sprain an ankle. :)

I don't know why you're so heavy on the referee for AU losing home finals advantage with that 2-2 draw the other week. Elrich did the wrong thing and AU were fortunate to draw that game. It was a big game and AU still found ways to stuff it up for themselves. Lucky to still have made the top 6. Supporters should be peaved at Elrich and some of the others that lost the plot, sorry to say. AU should have taken the opportunity and concentrated solely on football, got the win and then finished the last game with a better mindset. They remind me so much like the crows.

Damn, ***** won.

Only about 20,800 turned up, they should've had the match at AAMI park, not Deadihad, which wasn't built to host soccer. When the AFL takes up full ownership of Deadihad, hopefully they'll not allow soccer to be played there.
