Well all you Manchester City fans must be happy they have signed Pep Guardiola ie Eddie Dingle and a couple of others on here, to become coach from 1st July. Expect some silverware - he has 19 pieces as per his record below, which could become more than 20 given Bayern Munich are top of the Bundesliga by 8pts mid season, are playing in a 1/4 final of the German FA cup equivalent and still alive in the Champions League at final 16 stage.

Plus he is going to get £150m to spend on players when he replaces Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the season. His mission will be to take City to that elite Euro super club status. It will be interesting to see if he succeeds what that does for Melbourne City.

Adelaide United getting away with 1 point in a 2-2 draw. All the goals in the first half. Still well inside the six, the worst that could happen is that Perth get to within 5 points after their game.
Last few minutes were pretty open, Sydney probably should have scored and Adelaide could have had a chance in the last few seconds but Bruce Djite was just a bit too far behind the defender with the ball and so played him and Sydney got a free kick. Otherwise he could have dispossessed him and there would have been two Adelaide players to one Sydney on the edge of the box.

No. Tony Popovich it is not something for 'others to discuss' it is time for you and your players to take a stand. Time for you to stand up for all the decent law abiding Wanderers supporters out there and not sweep an ongoing problem under the carpet. Saying it is not our problem shows poor leadership. I realise you were probably on the spot at the conclusion of a game and no one expects you to solve this on your own but you and the players need to be part of the solution.

For the record there were 19 flares set off during the game and the situation was that bad that the referee had to stop the game. Sooner or later someone is going to get hurt. If a few idiots can get 19 flares into a sporting contest in Australia what is to stop another idiot from smuggling something more sinister in?

Hopefully those who were vocal in staging and supporting the walkouts late last year will be just as vocal in condemning this stupidity and supportive in any attempt to deal with these hooligans.

Did Perth just beat Sydney? If so, The Glory are putting a bit of pressure on those on the lower rungs of the top 6 (including The Reds).

Well that first half was entertaining. 3 goals and about half a dozen yellow cards.
 
Bloody hell, here I am engaging in some friendly banter with I Dont Care and The Victory level it up immediately with Finkler having no idea what he was doing but still managed to put the ball in the back of the net.
 
So the derby had it all, 4 goals, a goal not given due to the non use of goal line technology, yellow cards a plenty, a red card, flares and the Victory crowd throwing bottles on to the field of play.

For the last 2 I hope the FFA come down on them like they did the Wanderers crowd of last week.
 
Well, so far all the results have fallen our way. Melbourne derby a draw, Perth beat Sydney. Although it would have been slightly better for us if that had been a draw as Perth would still be more than one result out. Now Adelaide need to beat Central Coast and they would not just be third but possibly two weeks off a top two place.

Penalty every day of the week but your boys were unlucky not to get one for a handball in the first half.

In the end Arsenal deserved the win for sure.
