Easy to say but a massive game for Adelaide United tonight, away to the Victory. At least it is at AAMI Park and not Etihad where our record is abysmal. TBH not sure what it is at AAMI Park either but it can't be as bad at Etihad can it?

Haven't beaten them away for over 5 years, but your right about our Emptyhad record being putrid. Hope our players just go out there & play their best football & put away any negative thoughts.

Superb ending to the game and kudos to the ref for playing a less than obvious advantage after a free. While the injured player was being tended you could see a Melbourne Victory player talking to the ref. I'd bet London to a brick that he was saying the ref shouldn't have waved play on with an injured player down.

Good to see the Red Army able to give the finger to the Victory supporters.

Great win for sure.

I think they were complaining that the medicos needed to get Goodwin off the ground quickly so they could resume play to try and catch The Reds off guard. More kudos to the ref for not listening knowing that the player had received a serious head knock.

Thankful i wasn't the only one expecting it, even the cameraman was expecting it, funny it kept on panning back to her. :p
She must have been smashed. On the C7 news service they showed a group at the pub before the game and she was one of them.

Unlike that mob at West Lakes, the Reds are the only A-League team in SA. I know the camries were like that from 1991-96 in the AFL, but different situation.
They are a carbon copy of what the Crows are and are chaired by Greg Griffin.

Wan't watching at the time Bruce Djite handled the ball in the area. I thought maybe it was just sour grapes when I heard about a missed Victory penalty but this video shows it was clear. It wasn't a straight out punch but he went in with his arms raised. Maybe the ref and the linesman are from the Diego Maradona school of football.

Brisbane 6-3 down after 89 minutes. And with WSW drawing and us beating the Victory we will be 2 pts off the top spot and Perth 1 pt out of the six behind M.City, M.Victory and Sydney.

And next week we have Brisbane at home while Perth on the edge of the six have WSW. Could Adelaide be top next week?

Well what an interesting comp. amazing that both us & Perth have hit their straps, the latter scoring 6 in a match for the second time in the last 5 weeks. If both keep it up, then could it be a Reds v Glory decider? That would be the (E)FFA's worst nightmare! :)

Wanderers get a goal and then straight away the ball is at the other end and a Perth attacker is brought down in the penalty area. He had beaten his defender but he was on the goal line and there was another WSW defender covering so the score was unlikely till the challenge was made and the penalty conceded.
