Round ball code talk

Hey chiwigi. What’s up with the crowds at your home games?
I’ve seen both and been impressed with the composure of your boys against reasonable opposition.
They have certainly ground out those 2 wins.

Wales is one of the poorest regions in Europe.
They will be feeling the pinch, especially as people are paying for Wales games.

We were also favourites for relegation before the season started. With 13 untried new players.

Added to the horrendous weather, the briefs are fine.

The football is the best I’ve seen us play in years, no more long ball shit!!

How about Forest being called Fforest after signing all the Welsh players 😂😂.

Your team is basically what the Cardiff team would be if you hadn’t stolen them!!😂😂

Call us anything you like, well with one exception 🙄, as long as we stay up

Forest with a 1-0 win over Liverpool 😘

And wasn’t it great. At least Forest showed a bit of grit and determination.

I was out at the shops today, in my Forest top, and got pulled up by a scouser having ago at me for wearing it.

Now I regularly wear sporting tops/gear, I even wore a Port tie to work the Monday after 2007 GF.

I asked him why he wasn’t wearing his.

Bling FC tax

NFI why that was a red card. I could understand it if it were in a 3rd tier Asian minnow division where the ref has been paid off, but we simply can't have these decisions in the A-League. Even worse that VAR upheld it immediately. Everyone covering their own backsides. Can only hope it gets overturned tomorrow, but I won't be holding my breath. Cost the reds two points today.

Well allow me to say as a resident BigFooty scouser, congrats on the win. I'm not even that disappointed as I want to see Nottingham stay up. I'm just hoping Pool can still do enough to finish top 4 this year (though its looking less and less likely), while focusing on the other cups (UCL, FA, EFL).

Studs up - automatic red.

I think the ball being clearly in play here would cause me to err on the side of letting it go, but thats the rule they are following. If studs are down its a foul at worst.

Well they didn't follow the rule correctly given that the red card has been overturned and Hiro is free to play on Sunday.

The screenshot you took is very deceptive. At that stage all momentum is gone and he's virtually at a standstill. Contact did not come on the follow through and it was minimal at best. It's a foul at worst, nothing more.

Yes agree with this and think overturning is correct.

Im just trying to give an explanation for why VAR wouldnt overturn it on gameday. Keep your studs down if a player is coming and you remove all doubt.

Call me a glutton for punishment but I'm so glad we got Real again. Fourth time lucky.

PSG/Bayern is an utterly insane draw.

I've got: Man City, Benfica, Liverpool (with bias), Spurs, Napoli, Chelsea, Inter and Bayern going through.

PSG, AC and Real in particular could prove me wrong though.

16th, I believe.
I know you are probably stirring me up, but my memory is that after the 1982 WC when Brazil went in as big favourites and Italy knocked them out in the 2nd group stage, no 1/4 finals as the first time 24 teams in a WC, the 1986 WC in Mexico, Argentina went in as favourites led by Maradona and 1990 in Italy, Germany and Italy went in as equal favourites given a South American team hadn't won in Europe since 1958 and Germany had made the last 2 WC finals, and Italians at home were expected to do very well.

I reckon Brazil has gone in as favourites or equal favourites ever since then. Even in Russia they were expected to bounce back after the SF disaster in 2014.
