WtfFIFA defending their exorbitantly high prices for World Cup games by saying, 'the money raised will go toward spreading the game in non traditional markets'. I would have thought getting as many people though the gates in the US and Canada would achieve the same objective.

In Qatar in 2022 you could get a Cat4 ticket to the Round of 16 for US$19. That is some price hike.
