murphy has his contract signed and ready to go at north hobart, moving in with one of the young kids. allison has been seen spending quite alot of time with the gelnorchy boys and rumor has it that his house mate poodle wells is yet to sign his contract with north hobart and may go to the pies if they can find him the right job.

Wells and Murphy 3 clubs in 3 years. Is there anytruth with wells going to the pies? What would be the transfer fees for these two players?
wells always brakes down and murphy to much trouble of the park glenorchy would not touch them.Even if the transfer was 1 dollar.

You have contradicted yourself! You stated Glenorchy wouldn't touch Murphy with a ten foot pole, yet they were in the running for him????? Wells can come to Clarence, Budge would sort him out!
I know my pies have had a crack at both players. Wells has a two year contract at North, hasn't missed a training run with them and is keener than ever to play well for North. His cousin is Darren Perry (President) and he feels he owes him for the way he has looked after him since moving South. Murphy told us at pie land he is definitely playing at North.
I am worried that we have been chasing everyone that can play. I'm hoping we haven't neglected our own nest of players!! I have heard that Cox also wants to join North Hobart........I am worried that all this could end in tears at pie park!!!
I haven't seen much of Renolds, he never got a kick in the Grand Final, Ackers is coming for P.R. and young Mott is ok, but slow....I reckon we need to spend more time with our own.. GO PIES!!!

Wells on his day is behind only Greg Sharmen as the best big defender in the state. He has come on in leaps and bounds since he has moved down here and found work. Murphy say what you like about him. Can play the game. Wouldn't be the only person that plays football that has a reputation off the ground.

Had a feed of KFC with Wiggo at the weekend and he said that they are going to have a crack at Clay Hardie from Devonport. He is training with Burnie at the moment and he said that they will be able to find him employment if he comes down. Apparently he is coming down next week to meet with the club and have a look about.

No one got a kick in the GF for Devonport. The Delivery wasn't real good to him. He will be good for the Pies. Mott will complement the other midfielders well. And Cox wants to go every year. But he has paid his dues their, not sure how he feels or others for that matter about the moment those two are getting?

You may have chased everyone that can play but gee some of your coaching appointments have certainly raised some eyebrows.
winged might worry about his own nest and worry about geting respect back from his own players after an interesting end to the year.

i heard north & clarence are having a praccy match tonight at north.
anyone heard who or who might not be having a run.
I watched it for a while on the way home from work, I didnt take a lot of notice of who played except Clarence looked like it was their colts team. They were getting belted by North whilst I was their. I dont know a final score, but was told this morning that it was a big win to North. Does that make us march premiers?

Yeah we played last night. North have improved don't get me wrong, but we still looked too slick for them! We also had 9 out and i didn't see many out for them.

I agree Roo, Clarence pretty much had a colts team in and looked to be moving the ball with ease, they will definatly be the team to beat again, north have improved a little bit but will still have their work cut round 1 down at the tip against a very improved bombers outfit. I dont think the Bombers will get beaten much down at the tip this yr

its not always how many you had out but who is out. north didn't have a lot out but were still missing ken hall, cam degoyer, zane murphy & ollie divenuto. just like clarence not having thurley, savage, drury & sharman.
i reckon those four north boys might have made a difference.
anyone hear a final score.

both north and clarence were missing important players an it was more of a chacne for the youngs to have a run. browny, moose, wells, allison each only played a quater or two and left the rest up to the young ones. i hear north won by atleast 8 or 9 goals.

Wasn't much in at all in the end. Noticed a few of the Glenorchy boys watching in the stand. Wiggo obviously walking around looking or thinking he is Scott Clayton!

allison must be in hot form. 10 goals in a quarter or 2 is a fair effort. i heard north by 80. but hey its only a praccy match & roos did have a very young side in.

Yea only a practice match and the demons got up by 10 goals. Clarence had a few out but so to did North. They looked very slick and fast and will definately be the side to beat this year. Their run and forward line versatility will be hard to counter
