Gawn - Vc ( provided Spencer not picked ), Beams next in line

Dangerfield - C

How will Kennedy go in The Sydney big wet? Are those conditions better for his scoring or worse? Thinking worse.

When Danger plays late, I always go a high-ceiling player for the V... No point in someone getting 110 & making the decision tricky.

Without Fyfe as an option this week, someone like a Buddy, Dusty, Bont or maybe even Beams. I don't have the 1st 2, so probably Bont for me.

What are people setting as their loophole benchmark? 120? 130?

no way I'd let 120 go, that's great
115 is also nice, but then again, guys like Danger and Fyfe can pump out 150s so easily

110-119 is where it gets difficult

Think it all depends with the security of your captain choice, we had it pretty lucky last year with Danger averaging 131. He does have a vs Fremantle average of 125 so I think it's pretty safe to not accept anything less than that.

if I take Cameron;
Trellers VC
Danger C

if I take Strnadica:
Buddy or Steven VC
Danger C

The second best in the business into the best in the business (Pendles > Danger).

TMitchell, Treloar, Beams are other sneaky options but think I will go with that.

Last year I would use Danger's average as the benchmark. Used to take anything 120+
Will probably stick to my Danger's average route this year, although I'm strongly considering Fyfe ahead of him as C this week, I don't rate Smith at all and think Sandi will give Fyfe silver service out of the middle.

Pendlebury for VC ?

The good:

Had 14 games at the MCG last year
10 times he went 110+ (including 118 against the Dogs @ MCG)
Doesn't mind playing the dogs either with 3 scores of 145 over the years

The bad:

4 Friday night games last year for returns of:
110, 87, 82, 94

can't decide between Buddy and Jack Steven

I reckon Buddy will kick 6 and the Swans will win easily, but I also think the Saints will win a close match and Steven will go mental

Not sure if weather would be a factor but I'm building an ark in our yard after all the rain we've had up here this week!! Will be interesting to see how the SCG holds up, especially in the wicket area in the middle of the ground.

On a side note, if Dusty's barrel last night was at the SCG, it would have sailed through at post height.

Had Buddy, but the forcast is for rain in the game .....and that changed my mind

Now that Gawn is rucking solely .......VC? ..to Fyfe on his home ground over Danger?

Don't think so but he has had a grumbly Achilles the last couple of weeks. Enough of a concern for me to go with Treloar instead.
There was a tweet this morning suggesting

Tends to be a rumour every year about Pendles being a late out. But he consistently plays 22 games. Pendles plays through injury well anyway. what was the tweet?
