If Hille is unfortunate to miss the Adelaide game he should be pumped for the home game against Freo, which would be a little bonus.

B: McVeigh Michael NLM
HB: McPhee Fletcher Welsh
C: Stanton Watson Monfries

R: Hille Lovett Winderlich
INT: Ryder Dempsey Slattery Heffernan

The team Sheedy actually plays will be something very similar to this:
(Not taking into account possible suspensions).
B: McVeigh, Michael, Lovett-Murray
HB: McPhee, Fletcher, Welsh
C: Lovett, Watson, Winderlich
HF: Hird, Lucas, Monfries
F: Johns, Lloyd, M.Johnson
R: Hille, Stanton, Peverill
INT: Ryder, Heffernan, Dyson, Bradley
I think that Davey, Jetta, Houli will all miss out rnd1. It's not ideal to debut at AAMI. Then again, Sheeds debuted Stants there a couple of years ago now when he was only 17? Still, try and find a spot for him in that side...There's no room in midfeild. The only possible starter is Davey, that's it.
And those who believe one of the three could come in for Peverill or Heff...We simply don't have any more room for inexperienced draft picks in that midfeild. Pev and Heff have to play with JJ out.
Davey, Houli, Jetta, Gumbleton - They can all gain some experience down at Bendigo for now. Let them dominate that, then give them a chance in the big time a few rounds in depending on how we are (and they are) travelling.
Backline will be interesting, we should be able to handle the Crows alright, with Michael the huge plus obviously. We really missed that second key position player down back last season imo, hopefully he can do us proud when in the red and black. McVeigh will probably get a stint or two on the ball, depending on how the Crows line-up. Slattery can come off the bench if neccesary.
The middle is very worrying for mine. Without JJ, we could struggle to win the hard ball from stoppages and get killed in clearances. Hopefully Hille doesn't get rubbed out, that would be extremely harsh. Our pace is going to have to be our strength through their, but we need to also put emphasis on hitting targets, composure will be needed from our pacy wingmen.
Forward line just makes me grin. Lloyd, Lucas, Johns. How many sides this year have three big men that can control all three of those at once? You could maybe keep one or two quiet at best, but all three..good luck. Then, you add Hird to that, who this year will probably kick around 50, as he won't be pushed into the middle nearly as often.
Can't wait!

kepler and paddy shouldn't be played in the same team if hille is right to play
because we have better wingman than kepler
our forward line is already tall enough
fletch, big mal, mcphee and paddy can take any tall forwards of adelaide
and on a dewey night in adelaide his poor skills will be compounded by the conditions.
