5 trades left, 240k in the bank and sitting precariously in the 8 in most leagues with a good %. Need wins from my last 2 to secure finals.

Any suggestions for trades this week?
I think I need to upgrade the ones in RED to have a solid bench.
Might look at Ablett upgrade next week as his break even is 216! Could save 40k by doing it next round.

I think i might keep Lower, Harvs keeps playing him in the mid and is winning his own footy. Pretty handy getting 90+ from D7.

The other problem I need to keep in mind is the players with BYES in finals. I'll be happy to keep and Judd & Ottens as I'll have sufficent cover, but I was thinking about getting rid of Yarran. Its hard to find a FWD I dont already have that doesn have the bye in finals.

Is bringing in Talia a waste considering how many trades I have left?

Wondering the same thing... I've got 6 trades. The extra money would be good but isn't absolutely essential.

As a forward option you might consider Rioli when he comes back - or perhaps a week after he has his first game. Cloke has no more byes and of course the Suns this week.

Nice team.

I like the move for Newman - especially given his low BE but have you considered the player averages in terms of your upgrades? 5 trades is getting low... you might consider Swallow > Bartel before his price shoots up.

The way I see it you've got 3 upgrades remaining there, it will be about getting lucky with injuries and timing the moves right so that you can afford them.

Fisher v´s Broughton

With H.Shaw and his brain explosion, I need to replace him and I don´t have Fisher or Broughton....with the remaining games and finals who do I pick and why please.

I was planning on trading Shaw to Suckling. Suckling is out this week though and I'm not sure who to get instead. Newman is just out of reach unfortunately, so I'm looking at Bock instead. Any thoughts on him?

You can't argue with Fisher's average.

Gwilt out might mean he is asked to mind his man in preference to being a marking, offensive player that provides so many points. It remains to be seen. Get him next week when he loses some more money.

Broughton is scoring heavily while he's playing in the midfield. Barlow playing full games might limit his scoring potential, and if Mundy ever comes back he doesn't tend to score well, particularly with Suban in.

All that aside I'd say Fisher is your man. Saints have a better run home and he has been in great nick this year.

Suckling's absence complicates things for me also ... leaning towards waiting a week and hoping he gets selected for round 19. Currently have Goddard, Fisher, Deledio, Newman, Gibbs and Enright.

The difference is so minimal based on the info we have...that is..both have had their 2nd bye, Fisher ave very high and now Broughton in the mids averaging high.

Don't lose sleep over it, just pick one...both should be fine with even luck

How about you try and save the extra cash for a better defender than Bock...e.g. downgrade Hibberd/Harris and upgrade Stanley/Hibberd to Fisher/Birchill...that might save some cash...you can then sideways Shaw to almost anyone the following week.

Not 100% sure of your cash situation but that would be a 3 trade deal.

went for mitchell over priddis, couldnt resist that delicious run home for the hawkers!

cheers, that's a fair idea. I'd be a bit concerned over only having 4 trades for the rest of the season, but I suppose I have to upgrade stanley at some point anyway.

I had a similar choice - between krak/mzungu/smith I went with Krak so I guess that's my suggestion... I chose him because he's playing the gold coast. It was between him and Mzungu though, he's been scoring well recently. I didn't even make Smith an emergency because he wasn't named on the field.
