I actually prefer HG a little, but its a close tussle. Yep, very funny blokes.

For fans of Rampagin' I suggest folks see the 80s horror movies 'Outback Vampires', 'Contagion' and 'Rock'n'Roll Cowboys'. There's another film which also stars Ghandi McIntyre and, umm, sheeze umm .. oh Richard Roxburgh ...

Anyways, they're all grouse laughs, and John Doyle (Rampagin') is also a commentator at the sheep trials in 'Babe' (1).

HG (Greg Pickhaver) makes appearances in 'This Won't Hurt A Bit', and in a movie about Berlei, the name of which I cannot remember. In the latter he's just a bit part as a news reporter as they get off a train.

He did the afternoon show on 2BL for a while in the early 1990s.

www.warnervision.com.au has Roy and H.G
"The Ice Dream" listed in the coming soon section, catalogue # 0927446343, release date 18/3/02.

I love 'em both, used to love Club Buggery and The Nissan Cedrics! I have their call of the 1997 AFL Gf on tape, however I thought their 96 call was funnier.

I just can not understand why people find these guys so funny. I watched The Dream several times because the show was receiving such great reviews, but i've got to say they just didn't make me laugh. "Battered Sav", "Hello Boys" - yeah, amusing the first time but after they flogged these sayings to death night after night i'm sitting there thinking hey fellas, got anything new to add?

Seriously OVERATED duo. I give 'em 2/10

That rating is DOWNRIGHT UNAUSTRALIAN!

LOVE Roy and HG!!!!!!! Roy is my fave but yeah they're both pretty funny. Loved the 2000 Dream and the one just gone, VERY funny stuff. :D

I'm a big fan too of 'The Dream' and 'The Ice Dream'. Although I must say I have never watched an episode of The Monday Dump or whatever program they host on Seven. I wonder if most people watch both programs or just their Olympic specials?

I think Roy is better than HG, maybe because Roy is wittier and comes up with the jokes on the spot, while HG yells a lot and laughs at what Roy says. Still, they are a very good comedy combination.

The first thing I do when I go to America is to find some Easy Cheese.:D
