An extra announcement mainly for my teammates, but of league-wide relevance.

Due to a new job excavating cubes up in the far north of the continent at Merotino, and not at all because I'm shit at everything else, I'll be relinquishing the Roys captaincy next season back to TedDougChris , who will be returning to the Roys "****-up helm". Details will be fleshed out over next few whiles.

A big thank you to all the Roys teammates who trusted in me for 4 seasons. By the 3rd season I ran out of available time to do the job (rl got busier). We maintained a strong league presence and averted potential catastrophe. So let's bring a ready-made catastrophe back into the squad!

Thanks also to the other teams and the league for embracing me as an opposition club leader for these seasons. I got a couple of PM's from the oppo, pointing out errors in team sheets or similar. Appreciate the warmth.

I'm still playing and "posting" but just not captainiseating.

Let's look forward to S41 and another strong season ... maybe slightly more strong! Like my general stench.

As we used to say at Fitzroy before getting flogged all over again: Just wait til next year!
