he is young, has had 3 years development, and is 4th in line in the one of the best ruck setups in the comp
he is also a victorian boy, could b lookin to come home
its a bit left-field

doubt they'll be looking at him as we already have a few young ruckman developing thats our problem, all of our ruckman (bar mckee) are still developing so they'll be looking for someone who can step up to the plate now not in the future

my guess is Dean Cox or Chamie Charman will be our main targets

i believe mckee will struggle for game time again next year and only play when fraser, richards and/or c cloke r injured

i doubt we will be able 2 grab a ruckman like charman, or mcdonald or even cox for that matter. Maybe a well sized (not a string bean) ruckman maybe a young bloke with little experience would be good 2 try and mature into a good ruckman, just look what brissy has done with mcdonald and charman. but if we could get a youngish well accomplished ruckman then do everything possible to get him

We have 4 young ruckman, why do we want anymore.
We have Josh, Richards, Tex and C-Clo.
If we need a ruckman we need an experienced one such as Cox or Lade.

Lade, Charman or even Allen would be a great pick up. Only need 2-3 years out of that type of player as Cloke and Walker will be ready to step up by then.

I see no reason not to get Lade apart from the fact that Rocca will be into him about having his head where Rocca's elbow was going costing him a spot last weekend.

Ruck/Forward

We definately require a quality ruck - and of all available perhaps Cox is the best option.

I think Cameron Cloke might be earmarked for this position in the next 4 or 5 years - but requires a bit of time to get to quality status.

As for our biggest hole in the immediate term... Surely a power forward. This isn't a Mckee, or Fraser - it is another Rocca type... There is room as this would allow Tarrant to move to a flank where he is surely better suited (indicated by him getting most kicks out of goal range (not fullforward behaviour))

Where is another Lucas or J.Brown type coming from?

Rawlings and Ben Holland, but Rawlings is going to the Roos and I am not too sure about Holland....
And I still reckon we dont need another ruckman, so no Peter Street

Three? Fraser is only 21.
There is also Rocca and Walker as backup ruckmen

A ruckman is no longer the number one priority. We might trade McKee for another younger tall, but its more important we get a versatile KPP and a ball carrying midfielder.

his name is Tristen Walker. Most of our improvement will come internally. We have had our rookies and young draftees play in finals footy and then ultimately a premiership with Willy. A great experience for them.
