Sounds reasonable - having a ruckman who can consistently take marks around the ground would be a bonus. Biglands has the athletism to do this, so perhaps he should wear a glove (as it improved Pitto out of sight).

Pittman was a crap mark before he wore a glove, then became very reliable when he wore one. Sure it won't work for all, but given out ruckman usually drop marks when they get their hands on the ball, it would be worth trying, as they couldn't possibly get worse!

Hear hear. I have been saying this for yonks. At least gloves would give them a bit more control in a marking contest. If its good for exceptional markers like Tredrea and Cornes, surely its good for Biglands and Clarke. They don't have to wear both gloves. one should be enough.
