May as well keep up with the trend in posting threads about best players in that particular position this one being the best ruckmen in this coming APS season. First that comes to mind is Tyrone Vickery from Hailbury

wat about ruck combinations? everyteam can have a standout ruckman. but the ruck duo will always beat the individual ruckman. i think gorman, ulbrick and sibasado will challenge a lot of teams. weve all heard about the top ruckman. wat about peoples ruck combinations?

luke davey is a gun ruckmen ive never seen anyone play with more technique and passion, reminds me of polly farmer and will be a great combination with vickory this year.

apparantly sam lees has been doing a lot of work on his leg power during the off season and now has a vertical jump of 100 cm. is it possible that he could take the crown of no.1 ruckman from james ulbrick? a heated contest not to be missed

I have no doubt that Sam "Judd" Lees will dominate this year and every single player in the Xavier team will have to perform well, because as we all know, Sam Lees just might jump into your spot and play in a few positions at once. Dominant force, will be very interesting to see the competition between him and Ulbrick for the main rucking position, perhaps Xavier might have Lees going up for the ruck, playing rover and following his own ball before launching himself into the forward line and taking miraculous mark after miraculous mark from his own kicks. Absolute gun.

matt whelan did that against st kevins. got the hit out down to himself the contested possession then got the centre clearance, inside 50 straight to a xavier forward. fantastic stuff

hahaha mate u can not b serious about those wesley ruckman, mgs played them and used 2 yr 10 boys as a trial and they absolutely carved up the wesley ruckman which resulted in alot of centre breaks for mgs

m8 i didnt see the games but mayb they had a bad one cause one yr 11 ruckman has the fourth most hitouts in the tac cup and both r in the starting team and sandringham

and Lachlan Salmon of Carey is a very contentious call, De La played them in a practice match pumped them by 80 points and he was beaten in pretty much every tap throughout the day, either he had a bad day or ur highly over rating him
