Rugby League G/Final in Russia

Heard that the rugby league grandfinal in Russia is expecting to draw over 80,000 people.....

Can someone tell me some more info on the game..or post a link......

not to sure about that figure ms storm, but it will be played in an 80k seater stadium. If you follow a thread in the international section of rleague, it should be in there (all the info). One team is from Moscow and the other is from Tartasan. Should be good! I think they are expecting between 25-30,000k actually

I really did hear or read something on this and will link up as Moff suggested.

Even if only about 30,000 go to the game, still not a bad effort....though surely 80,000 would have been better of course
I also remember reading or hearing something , that there are a lot of kids that play rugby league in Russia. However, I would imagine soccer would be their No.1 footy code over there.

i believe they have 10-15,000 juniors playing the game in Russia at the moment.

The Russians beat USA 54-10 in front of 35,000 fans in Moscow and Taterstan also beat USA in front of 14,500.

Good stuff and it shows that rugby league is growing.
