There was a Tahs game at Brookie earlier in the year that got 17k. How the hell did they fit 7000 more people in than today? It looked pretty full. Looked great on TV.

Imagine what crowds the Knights will get when they sit in the top 4. Another great crowd.

So how do we gauge the off-season from hell now?

Obviously some sponsorship money was lost, but the numbers are holding. No doubt a few people would've loved to see some dramatic drop off, but that certainly hasn't been the case. SoO just around the corner should give the game another boost at that level at least.

Crap crowd in Cronulla let's be honest.

I hate to say it but I think a lot of our supporters gave up on the game. We fielded a second string side against the competition pacesetters and no one expected us to win. Cronulla are looking at selling a couple of home games into Fiji citing a lack of crowd support in the Shire. Maybe resticting the number of available home games will shock our supporters into action.

Pissing down with rain all day, playing the top side who has never drawn a crowd in and fielding a reserve side the week after being humiliated by s**t opposition.

Yet despite all that, crowd was similar to when we played them as reigning premiers 2 years ago!
