Thanks mate , I said I will unfollow this tread , but to compare me to those scum is not on

It's just frustrating to see you post the same thing every few months when you clearly don't like or know the sport. You're not being as malicious as the Hawthorn guys posting on here of course so I didn't intend to imply that, but it's just not useful.

Agree with this, the specialist threads devoted to other sports like cricket and rugby are there for a reason, so people who are interested in those sports have a place to discuss them. If you don't care about the sport then don't post.

Anyone with half a brain could just ignore and not comment.

Will Jarryd Hayne make it over in the States?

Im just stirring but I don't mind Rugby or any sport and I would never begrudge anyone who does or wants to discuss.. Serious question, will Jarryd Hayne make it?

Who knows, easier for an Aussie to be a punter, but good luck to anyone who has a crack

That's the interesting bit he's not going to be a punter, so many set plays to learn.. He's not just gonna be able to receive a kick and say "catch me if you can" or is he?

I say not very likely. Kick Returner maybe but not as a Running Back or in any other position. Too far back in a pool of talent that is far too deep

disappointing effort by the Blues in the second half of Origin I, they didn't look like they wanted to win the game.

Watch the world construe this as Mitchell Pearce's fault. Again.

The real problem was Farah and Hodkinson in the end. 2 golden opportunities, the first 10 metres out and Farah moronically decides to go wide?? From memory Pearce swings it back in to Hodkinson who then goes to Jennings. No words on how bad that play was.

The second, Hodkinson, the only renowned kicker in the side (Pearce is a horrible FG kicker, believe me), decides to hide in the line and instead of putting himself in a position to get the ball, it goes to Dugan.

There is losing and then there is absolutely blundering it. 2 golden moments and not a leader to be found to organise what happened there. It's origin where FG's have always been of significant, and its boggling how key players shirked responsibility in a moment like that. I guess it becomes a culture when you're constantly losing for nigh on 10 years. :(

I think you're spot on. Though it was a surprisingly lacklustre game all round, Qld deserved to win no doubt but neither side was particularly brilliant in attack.

I think it proved once again Laurie Daley is an arseclown for picking Pearce once again.

The guy has been in the team for years and we won tiddly squat with him in there, as soon as we drop him and have Hodkinson and Reynolds in the halves we win our first series in years and then we stuff it all up by picking Pearce again.

When will we learn the bloke is not and never will be an Origin standard player.

Are you just trying to wind me up? :drunk:

Pearce played a solid game last night, not special, but solid. Definitely not one of NSW's worst, and certainly alongside Tamou one their best in the first half when the forwards got a roll on. Anyone trying to point the finger at him for last night is doing so on the basis of previous performances. The irrational hate of him is ridiculous - he's never going to be Thurston or Johns and the footballing public have punished him for that since he was 19. Just get over it.

At the end of the day we lost by a point in a game where we had critical opportunities to kick field goals. Was that really Pearce's fault? Not Hodkinson who shirked responsibility, not Farah who picked out Dugan, not Tupou and Jennings who made a horrible defensive read to let Queensland score?

Now to be perfectly honest, I wish they hadn't picked Pearce for Origin, but it's not because I don't think he's one of NSW's only competent halves. NSW just doesn't have the standard of player in key positions - its a reality of life. Winning games is just harder and the fact that we lost last night isn't down to one player who didn't even play that bad at all.
